Very Very Pleased with this Smoke/CO Alarm system!!!!
I recently replaced all of my First Alert Wired Smoke/CO detectors after they went off in the middle of the night for no reason. I did a significant amount of research online checking reviews and using AI to find detectors that are reliable, very low incidence of false alarms, easy to install and very functional. ChatGPT recommended this product.It was definitely easy to install and it has excellent features. One is you can control the alarms through an their app. In the event of a false alarm, you can shut all the alarms off via a button on the base station or through the app. I greatly appreciated this since I had to wait about 10 minutes with a blaring alarm with the First Alerts until they finaly shut off.Another great feature is the voice notification in the alarms is excellent. It is very clear and should an alarm go off you will clearly know where the issue is in your home and what the issue is as well. I had not idea what the First Alert alarms were telling me when they went off.If you are away from home, the app will notify you if there is an issue – fire, smoke, CO, at your home. Also, you can have your system set up where it will automatically contact the Fire department should a problem arise, given you approve the call.I also appreciate that the system comes with a 5 year battery and did I mention that this system is one of the least expensive on Amazon, yet is built well and appears to be very high quality.I did notice one 1 star review where the purchased indicated that they were not UL Certified and that his insurance company would not approve them. I contacted my insurance company, Allstate, and told them about these alarms. They said they only need to meet UL standards, they don’t need to be certified. These definitely meet UL Standards and I’ve included a photo which I’ve also shared with Allstate for their records.

Easy setup, works great, lots of features
Easy setup and works great. I can’t speak to the longevity because I’ve only had for a week or two, but setting up the “base” station was easy (need a smart device/phone). What I like is its battery operated (because what if the power goes out if there is a fire?), it’s super loud, app is intuitive and easy, and shouts the room the fire/CO is detected. Obviously each home is different, so you need to read ALL the instructions to know the exact location you may need to install. (i.e., not within 3 feet of a air duct/vent, kitchen door, bathroom, etc.). This is probably where several of the other reviews stated false alarms, etc. I even “shared” my home setup with my mom via the app, and she can monitor my home in case I have an emergency – now she automatically knows. This is all for free!(Of course I’d have to pay for the auto-call dispatch of fire station, but I live in a condo complex so that’s not necessary for me as much as it may be for other people.)Also, in case anybody was wondering: the difference between this 3+1 setup and the other model SC07-MR51 5+1 setup, is that this one has the “voice” feature with 3 alarms (shouts the room the fire/CO is detected along with the ringing), and the other does NOT have the voice feature but has 5 alarms. I couldn’t find that bit of info on the website or Amazon’s description, so I called X-Sense and that’s what they told me. If I ever need more alarms, I can always buy more and simply add it to the base station! Oh, and also this is the Link+Pro technology, which means any of the compatible alarms you buy can all be added to a single base station (which is already included in this box).Basically, it’s great! Very happy with my purchase.

Very good alarm compaired to other alarms I’ve had
I rate it was an easy installation, and great for sensitivity and notification. We had just purchased a home and made this one of the first purchases, on my list of to-do’s. We’ve had a number of homes in the past and I always make this a priority. I usually go with one of the other bigger name brands, but after some research I decided to go with X-Sense. It’s as well made as the other one’s and They were easy to install and connect together. Which is a new one for me. After a couple of weeks, I had let some chicken over cook and the alarm picked it up as a fire/smoke problem. I would say that it responded in an appropriate way. Not too fast but fast enough if it were a real problem we could respond to it. And when it went off, wow, there’s no way anyone could have slept through it. It also identified the correct source, etc as it’s supposed to. So far there have been no false alarms and it works great. I’ll add more information as it’s appropriate. Would I buy this verses the bigger name? I probably would. As I see it, seems to be just as good but with better features.

My connected smoke detectors were expiring and needed to get new ones so I looked for something that I could monitor remotely.Setup was easy, and the base station connected to my wifi. Then I connected each smoke/CO detector to the base station and told it where it was located.I like how it can tell you the PPM of CO if anything happens as CO is odorless and colorless. That is why it is important to have a combo so you don’t die if your heating system has a malfunction.You can look and monitor your home for free but like everything else they offer a service to monitor your home for a fee.

Works well, love the app and real time notifications
Decided to get one of these as piece of mind for our home. We have the regular fire alarms, but no carbon monoxide detectors, so I decided to find something that does both.What I really love about this is that it was easy to set up and the app works well. Tells you battery life of each unit and you can name each alarm so you know which one went off first. Son burnt some toast and I got an alert that our kitchen alarm went off, but it stopped right away. I called home and found out what happened and was glad to know it worked and notified me right away. You can test the detector through the app too, so no more climbing the stairs to press a button on the unit and you can turn it off remotely as well. So far I’m impressed and highly recommend.
