It’s great until it isn’t
I’ve purchased three of these trimmers over the past two years, and while they work great initially, they don’t seem to last. Each one performed well for about four months before running into charging issues—eventually refusing to hold a charge at all. Sometimes, they would only work when plugged in, which defeats the purpose of a cordless trimmer.When it works, it’s a fantastic product—smooth, effective, and easy to use. But the longevity just isn’t there, making it hard to justify repeat purchases. If the company could improve durability, this would be a top-tier trimmer. As it stands, it’s great… until it isn’t.

If it falls…
I am on my third buy. If it falls it is a death sentence. The shaving is decent but not worth the re-buy cycle. The second and third devices are a bit different than the first and actually pull groin hair a lot more often.This is built with flimsy engineering so it can’t take any shock but also has a high propensity for rolling once set down. Each of my ballbers have completely broken with single falls. I will not be buying these again.[update]Customer service representative reached out and gave full refund no questions asked. Ballber has great customer service! If they can fix the shock absorption then they will have 1 of the best devices on the market since the shave seems to be closer then other competitors.

BETTER THAN MANSCAPED 4.0!!!
Okay, let’s start with the one thing I wish it had… Manscaped has a LIGHT on theirs, and that is honestly a huge help when I’m grooming in the bathroom. Even with good lighting, it’s still hard to see certain angles, and the little light helps.Now, everything I love about this… I’ve tried SO MANY grooming products. Two or three from Norelco, the Peanut, the Manscaped 3.0 and 4.0. This is HANDS DOWN the best one.Why?Normally, if it’s been a bit since last grooming, I groom with a groomer and then I finish with my wife’s dollar shave club razor to keep it smooth. If I remember or have extra time in the shower, I just maintain with a razor. But more often than not, I have to start with a groomer. Pits, nipples, happy trail, pubic region, legs, toe knuckles… Try to keep them smooth from April to October.First, the double edge is actually effective. When working some tighter areas, it’s sometimes easier to push and not pull for detailed cuts (IYKYK). One of the norelco ones had this and I liked it but if you went too far you drew blood. This one truly doesn’t catch.That brings me to point 2. I’m always careful around the goods… I don’t care HOW good the blade is, if you go to fast, you’re going to draw a little blood. When I used this for the first time last night, I was grooming as normal… then I went to areas that I usually use a guard for and tested it with NO GUARD. I was able to keep it so close that I didn’t need to finish with a razor. It wasn’t THAT smooth, but usually there is a little mini forest where the skin isn’t as tight between grooming and shaving. Even with Manscaped’s plastic blade, I still drew a little blood in some spots. This one… no snags. No cuts. No blood. I didn’t try and push it and go fast, but I just wouldn’t risk it in those areas… even if it doesn’t slice me I don’t want to miss hair.With those two points alone, I am in love with this trimmer.Here’s what I don’t know about yet…1) haven’t used it wet yet. I DID rinse it while it was on and it did fine and didn’t short or anything. I didn’t expect it to. But I don’t know how the blade does when the hair is wet. Most groomers get clogged up with wet pubes so I try to avoid using it wet when I’m extra forest-y… so I didn’t try it last night.2) I don’t know how the battery life is. It came with enough charge out of the box for me to get a grooming in.One “con” if you will… since I was able to use it for more than any other groomer I’ve had, it got warm. Never so hot that it burned, but considerably hot at the blade that it was something of note.If anything changes, I’ll update this review… but after first use, AMAZING. Recommend 11 out of 10!

Had to buy 3 in 2 years
It worse amazingly well, great battery life, only ever knocked myself once, worked great in the shower, and easy to charge, but they are FRAGILE. The important mounting bracket that keeps the head attached to the body is a flimsy little plastic stick, and when that snaps, all the metal parts fall out too. 1st one broke when it fell from the seat of my car to the floor of the car. Second one broke when my girlfriend dropped it into the sink, and the 3rd break was when it bounced off if a couch seat and fell onto my carpet. Still an amazing product, but treat then like a fragile baby bird, because that’s about how delicate some of the important parts are.

Best body hair trimmer I’ve ever used.
Whether you use this for shaving you face or the rest of your body this trimmer has never kicked me no matter where I used it and I leaves your skin very smooth. No razer burn even in the most sensitive areas. It is very well made and the battery didn’t stop fully charging unlike cheaper brands. Highly recommend.

The teimmer works fine. One of the trimmer guards broke and I have not been able to find replacement.

I have done many studies of the different brands for particularly shaving the groin area and scrotum, I have challenged this item in all areas twice now and there are no nicks or bleeding like previous items I tried, leaves a nice clean smooth finish around all the challenging to shave areas including the shaft, for the money I am fully impressed and happy with my purchase, so far I cannot fault it. Happy nuts as they say!

You can find other trimmers out there to deal with the groin area. For those though, it requires so much concentration and time if you are trying to get the job done without getting cuts. Like it would take me up to 60 minutes to properly clean down there for real.Using this trimmer, i got the job in like 30, didnt itch, didnt chafe, it simply refuses to chomp down on skin folds if it comes across one, which was surprising.It wont give a bald shave but almost near bald and thats all i care for.If you want baldshave, use this and then go in with a mach 3 after.Its only been 1 use, so i cant speak for longevity but so far nothing like it.

Definitely the best grooming trimmer available for ‘those’ areas, but also for body hair in general.The device comes with 3 comb lengths which are easily interchangeable, a cleaning brush, charging cable and plug. The plug seems US-style, so you’ll need an adapter if you plan to charge using a socket, but you can charge the device using the USB cable port.Using the device in ‘that’ area was a breeze, it glides effortlessly with no fear of cuts or pulling of the hair – although I have not used it without the combs. The cut is clean and precise but also safe! I’d also like to highlight how quiet this device is. I was expecting a typical loud shaver noise, but I was really blown away by how little noise it makes!Overall, don’t look anywhere else. Yes, it is a sizeable sum of the change for a body trimmer but is definitely worth it.
