Voltage tester not working
I purchased this in August and finally got a reason to use it yesterday. I cannot get the voltage tester to work. It shines a green light but near an outlet or a bare hot wire, there is no change. Removed and reinserted the batteries – no change. If there is a power switch for the tester, I cannot find it.As a wire stripper/cutter it appears sturdy and useful. But I really wanted the tester to function.Maybe the company will see this and contact me with a working replacement. If so, the rating will definitely improve, but 3 star is the best I can do at this time.

Excellent tool.
Bought this for my husband. According to him its the best tool for electrical work. Having wire stripper, cutter, pliers and voltage tester in one tool is such a pleasure. It’s a must by for the handyman around the house.

Feels good but the proof is yet to be seen.
Looks and feels like an excellent versatile tool but haven’t actually used it yet; I will very soon and wished I had it a month ago to use on the current project. Looking forward to using it to cut and strip 12-2 wiring which has been a challenge with my current tools. Hopefully the cutting edge will hold up over time. The grip feels comfortable even with gloves on.
