Don’t leave home without it…
This is a great tool to have in your garage and toolshed…Although it is specifically for shrink wrap terminals, of which is does a great job, I use it for many other purposes where I need to squash things together…The tool is a great value for the money, it is sturdy, and cost effective… I am retired and have built and designed many things from wood to metal… and electrical.The thing about this, is that you may not use it a lot, but when you need a tool and you don’t have the correct took, then you have to improvise and that isn’t always a good thing.If you want to build a trailer lighting system, or build interior lights in a trailer, or cabin… or any electrical wiring… even LED lighting in your house… this is the tool and system to have.

This tool is great when paired with “TICONN 120Pcs Heat Shrink Wire Connectors”. ^w^The durability feels strong, crimping accuracy feel fine, does have a ratcheting mechanism that I’m not to fond of because the release is a but hard 2 do, other dan dat the tool works well 4 wat I need it 2 do. :3

Very nice crimper
I’ve only done a few crimps, but wow. These things make crimping so much easier than using the ones on my wire strippers. It’s also a feels like a more durable & stronger crimp. It’s basically a flat block making the connection, so you get one crimp to cover a wider area, making a crimp that looks nice.I didn’t have to do any adjustments on my pair. They did a great job on the default setting. However, it looks like adjustments could be troublesome since the wheel is too close to the handle. It allmost looks like you will need to cut a bit of the handle away to make it work. Speaking of the handle, it is a thick material, easy to grip, and mostly comfortable.The ratchet function works well. But if you get the handles too close together, you’re not getting your finger on the release switch to open them back up. I was able to get a screw driver in there. If you can’t do this, you have to continue squeezing the handle and finish the crimp, regardless of whether it’s the crimp you want. Not sure if the release is how others are designed, but seems like the release should sit a bit further back.Overall, at $15 and the minimal amount of crimping I do, I’m satisfied with these. If I did a lot of crimping, I might look for a better pair. If you’re a weekend warrior, you should be satisfied.

Good bang for the buck.
These are excellent crimpers a good bang for the buck. Well constructed and great for the tool pouch or toolbox. I highly recommend for all electrician’s and apprentice’s and automotive techs. As with all tools take care of and they will last a long time.

Although I haven’t tried this yet, it seems to be very well constructed. It’s heavy duty and the ratcheting is adjustable. I’m looking forward to trying it out. I’m sure this will even work on non-heat shrink type of connectors.
