Easy installation and multiple options for shelves.
Quick delivery and easy installation. Needed closet rods and shelving replacement for a previous “Joe homeowner” modified closet. This was perfect for our small odd sized closet.

Great unit!
Easy to install – read through all instructions first and it will assemble quicker. You need to use a hacksaw to trim the track if you go with the four foot configuration. For me that was the trickiest part! I purchased wall anchors – used 75 pound anchors with screws, instead of the toggle bolts – for that track installation. The entire installation took less than an hour. Unit is sturdy and I can change shelf height and placement if I need to!

Great product
I’m very happy with this system. It was probably a 30 minute start to finish install for a 4 foot setup by an intermediate DIYer. The hardest part is you have to cut one of the header brackets in half to make it work for 4 foot installation option. I used a metal bandsaw we have at my work, my second option would have been an angle grinder with a cutoff blade or a chop saw. You could do it with a hacksaw, but it wouldn’t be much fun.. Other than that it goes pretty easy and the instructions are really pretty good too. The unit works great for the closet and is very sturdy. Adjustable is way better than the fixed system in my opinion.

Strong support
I ripped out the nasty old wire shelving, repaired the drywall, painted the entire closet, and then installed this new closet system. My closet is 4×6. I bought the 5-8 ft system instead of the 4-6 ft system because it was only a little more and included more parts (more flexibility). I measured multiple times and was very careful to locate the studs so it would be well supported. Once the structure pieces were on the wall, the rest was super easy. I am confident this will never come off the wall, though the shelves and rods could be ruined by children hanging from them.What did I have to change? Instead of cutting 3″ off one hanging bracket, I cut 1″ off one and 2″ off the other so the holes would be 8″ apart when butted together, in keeping with 16″ studs. I also used better drywall anchors (the white ones like big screws) and screws (longer than the plastic ones that come with those white screw anchors) on the vertical supports because the anchors that came with the set ended up twirling and pushing all the way through the drywall.With all the measuring and remeasuring and rethinking the lengths and rereading the directions and finding appropriate screw and anchor replacelents, I probably spent 3 hours on the supports. The shelves and rods took less than half hour, including putting on the little end caps and moving the shelves around a little. The configuration will be easy to change as needed.I am very happy with the end result, and am glad I decided to fix and paint the walls first.

I have installed many of these systems and honestly if this is going in a kids room or extra closet it’s just fine and priced reasonably. However if it’s going into your master closet definitely buy rubbermaid over closetmaid. The quality is so much better in every way.

This is really easy to adjust which I love. You can be creative with it. Heavy duty just make sure you have it fastened and drilled properly into your wall.

Installation was pretty easy, except I drilled one hole a bit too big so it had to be patched and re-drilled (my fault). The assembled product is quite sturdy and can hold many items and clothes. I am very satisfied with this product.
