The best simple and inexpensive coffee maker
I love this 12 cup coffee maker. As a single mom of 3, my mornings are chaotic. This coffee maker makes my mornings a little easier. It is so quick, easy, efficient, and won’t break the bank. This Amazon Basics coffee maker looks great and is so easy to clean. I love how simple it is to use. This is the perfect coffee maker if you like simple easy to make coffee. It literally only takes a few minutes to brew. I usually load it up the night before with coffee and water, and in the morning I turn it on. By the time I wake up my kids to start the day, Coffee is ready to use.

Good coffee maker so far
I love this coffee maker, it has a flat top so if I empty the pot I can just set it on the top and not worry about it boiling dry. I just made a cup so I could take the pic to show what I mean. The sticker doesn’t come with it, I put that on there myself because I love it. If I forget to turn it off, it eventually will turn itself off. It’s much quieter than the previous brand I tried.

Simple, Affordable, and Exactly What I Needed
I drink coffee every day so a reliable coffee maker is nonnegotiable. I switched from a Keurig to this 5 cup machine to save money and honestly I haven’t looked back. It’s simple, quick, and makes solid coffee without all the extra junk. No more pods, no more waste, just real coffee. It doesn’t take up much space which is great and it’s super easy to clean. The only thing that bugs me a little is the “cup” measurement. A full pot doesn’t quite equal five real cups so keep that in mind if you’re a two mug person like me. Still, for the price and quality it’s a no brainer. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone who’s over the Keurig hype and just wants a good dependable cup of coffee every morning.

Highly Functional and Attractive
Has what I wanted most: Programmable, reusable filter basket, brew strength, i.e., select stronger brew, and small (width and depth smaller than many competitors). All with an affordable price. So I got one. Within 2 weeks, the warmer plate chipped and showed signs of wear — see photo. So I went back to square one, researching for a coffee maker that would meet my criteria. Ended up wanting the SAME, so replaced. Return was smooth. The 2nd one is holding up better. Luck? Or maybe I am not keeping the burner on as much? Bottom line: It’s sleek, functional, my coffee is waiting for me when I get up and it’s inexpensive. The coffee brews at a hot temp, too!My story: Recently moved. Decided didn’t want the bulky, counter hogging 3-way coffee maker, so left it behind. Reunited with an “attic” friend: old Mr. Coffee standard coffee maker. Realized it offered a lot of what I like: programmable, a warmer with adjustable temperate and auto shut off, reusable filter (cone shaped), and the pot was white. Shortly after starting to use again, the carafe broke. I invested (too much) to replace carafe, but had to settle for a black pot. Well, the coffee maker completely died a few months after buying the new carafe (for almost as much as new coffee maker). Bought a new popular brand coffee maker similar to this one. The cord was so short it did not reach my under cabinet power strip. Returned it and got this coffee maker. The Amazon coffee maker isn’t white (but the black with silver accent looks fine and I bought a white extension cord to plug into under the cabinet power strip). It does not have adjustable temp on the warmer but I don’t miss that. It does not have the cone shape reusable filter which I prefer. But really I don’t miss that either. If you want sleek, slender, hot coffee, programmable, stronger brew option, warmer with auto shut off, reusable filter, decent carafe (doesn’t drip much), for a low price, this is your machine.

Works great!
Great basic coffee pot! No auto-shutoff feature, but the price reflects that.

Just OK
It works, and it’s inexpensive. That may be all that you care about. Couple of things to consider. It has a kind of thin and flimsy feel. After a couple of weeks of use, nothing has broken off, but I keep expecting it. There is something about the design – I can’t put my finger on it exactly – but I am constantly spilling liquid when I use this thing. It’s also a bit cranky when the cycle is finished. If you open the lid in order to remove the grounds, it “spits” at you. I actually had a small jet of boiling water shoot out in my direction from a hole in the bottom of the water chamber. No harm done, but it surely startled me. Some reviewers have commented that the auto-shutoff doesn’t work. I find that it works too well. I come downstairs in the early morning to feed the cat and start a pot of coffee. By mid-morning, it has shut itself off and the coffee is cold. Finally, and this isn’t their fault, you need to think about whether a “5-cup” pot is really what you want. A standard “cup” of coffee is pretty small. 5 cups is actually about 2 mugs. That may or may not be what you want. Bottom line… it’s cheap and it works, but you might want to upgrade a bit.

Good hot coffee!
You want a good hot cup of coffee? This does the job at a great price! I recommend running a couple pots of water through before your first actual brew. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. And again, the best part is it makes a hot pot of coffee and keeps it hot for a couple of hours before it automatically turns off.

Great coffee maker that’s easy to use/operate.Been using daily for several months(purchased June 9), with no issues and is reliable.Brews fairly quickly, even at max capacity of 12 cups.I especially like the timer and strength functions. Very easy to program and set, to have a freshly brewed hot coffee waiting in the early mornings.Includes a reusable mesh filter, which is easy to clean. No issues with clogging, overflow or grounds in pot.The design is attractive with silver accents and looks nice on countertop. Conclusion: Good quality with easy to use features and great sale price. Definitely recommend! ★★★★★

This coffee maker is the perfect size for me. Keep in mind it’s small, but since I live alone, it works great. It comes with a removable basket filter, though I prefer using small paper filters (which I found on this site). I use filtered water from my fridge, and it brews a hot, satisfying pot of coffee. In the morning, I fill it to the 4-cup mark, which gives me about 2 cups of coffee (see photo).
