Great value, good quality!
I was very surprised by the color range of these panels since they were on the cheaper side, but they are quite good. A more expensive brand I’ve tried was less accurate than this one, which would make some of the designs I made look very off. This brand is just way better.

Bright and Programmable
These LED matrices have become the center of my scrolling sign project. Each panel has 256 individually addressable LEDs, and chaining them together gives a long ribbon of pixels. The colors are vibrant and the built‑in IC makes programming through libraries like FastLED and other pretty easy. I display custom text, animations and patterns, and even a low res animation. The panels run on 5V and draw a lot of current at full brightness, so a stout power supply is a must. Mounting holes make it easy to attach to a frame. For DIY displays and art pieces they’re excellent.

For no particular reason I am going to do it with these two panels and a pair of 16X16 panels. They are basically the same, just different geometry.I was going to use a WLED controller but I found a cheaper alternative from AdaFruit that has the whole works in a 40 pin package that is powered of USB-C. I am hoping I can supply the wattage to power all 1024 LEDs.These LEDs are super bright and the colors are great. I included some photos and videos, and I have to tell you that my iPhone camera does not do a good job of capturing the color and for that I apologize. Trust me, they look great.A couple of minor complaints. It would be great to have some through holes in the fabric to facilitate mounting. It’s not like you can just drill through yourself, having no knowledge of where the internal wiring is. This means that my art project will have to be attached with double sided tape or epoxy, which is not what I really prefer.I’m also not thrilled by the way the wires are laid out on the back. They are functionally fine but they are going to complicate the layout process as well – I can’t lay the panel completely flat on whatever i attach it to. But I typically use the thick foam double stick tape for something like this, and I believe it will be high enough to give the wires room.In my photos shown here I am using an SP108E controller just for testing of brightness and color, it is controlling all the LEDs just fine. I was kind of surprised to see how well the lamps worked in single color mode, but when I went to bright white LEDs I definitely pushed the power a little farther than it was able to go. This has nothing to do with the panel, it is the nature of powering LEDs.Anyway, great panels, love the way the work, and am ready to get started on my art display project.——–I’m honored to be included in the Amazon Vine program, and I work really hard to make these reviews and videos helpful. Great little LED panels!
Let me start by saying that this is not my area of specialty! My son loves LED lights, so I ordered these for him to play around with. Within minutes of taking them out of the box my son had these flashing in different patterns using WLED. He has used 2 different types of controllers and they worked out great both times!The colors are accurate and there is barely any fading from the start to finish of the panel. The brightness, color, pattern, and movement speed are all adjustable. With the right programming you can set these to scroll words, display an image, or even move to music with the right programming. The sky is the limit!I also like that these panels are flexible, allowing for a variety of projects!

These are so awesome! WLED loves these!
Ever since WLED added support for matrix arrays, it’s never been easier to use panels like this! Just install WLED onto an ESP32, wire it up, and you’re off! These are flexible to wrap around most curved surfaces, or you can build a nice frame to install in to make a cool scrolling message or light effect box. Really, endless possibilities. They can be INCREDIBLY bright when powered fully, but these panels really only need a fraction of the current they CAN handle to be vibrant and visible. Running at full current handling would make these way too bright to look at, and probably very hot.

these are great panels for the price
Great set of panels for the price, 100% wled compatible, so should be neopixel / fastled compatible. The colors are well saturated, the panel functions great and extremely easy to use if you have any experience with addressable leds.I got these for an antique truck project. The original tail lights are abysmal by current standards, so am using a spare set that has seen better days to build out addressable tail lights with a clear lens and red c2 tape in between all the leds to act as the reflector. They will end up having a dedicated red halo for running/stop/turn in case these fail, or the voltage converter fails, or the controller fails.

These are super cool. They run on 5V. I used a Raspberry Pi and some custom Python code to animate these. If you make all the LEDs bright white, they are extremely bright. You’ll also want to use an external power supply, not the Raspberry Pi’s 5V GPIO pin.I want to get more of these for a larger project!
