Great replacements for older models
Great replacement detectors. I purchased the wiring adapters also since the original ones had a different angle and wouldn’t work directly. The adapter made it easy. I didn’t have to cut and rewire them. Plug and play.

Now we’re protected again.
It’s a high quality product. Easy to install. I wasn’t aware these things have a limited functionality. The ones I replaced were 19 yrs old, that’s why even after I replaced the battery in the old ones they won’t quit beeping.

If you need two this is a good deal
This model replaced the one that I was using. I had to purchase two adapter kits to attach them .(which is why I dropped it a star) Other than that it was a quick and easy switch. I did not have to replace the wall mount. The new model fit right on. The price for the two pack, that I needed, was much less than buying two separately. Kidde’s wait time for customer service was ridiculously long, but worth the wait as I was able to get exactly what I needed

Kiddie Carbon Monoxide replacement
My carbon monoxide detector died after 20 years. I went on line to figure out where I could buy a replacement unit and the serial number for the replacement.Customer Service with kiddie was helpful in letting me know the detector has gone through an update. The only thing that stayed the same was the bracket.There website also listed several stores who sold the unit I needed but didn’t actually sell them except for Amazon.I bought a two pack along with an adapter for battery operated units. There’s a video instruction on the site that very helpful. It took all of 5 minutes to replace.

Too many false positives.The guy who painted the house Installed these guys, the one in the hallway… by the BABYs ROOM… kept going off randomly… I replaced it with the same exact model… guess what its doing?? Getting returned its what its doing… IT GOES OFF WHEN YOU TAKE A SHOWER!! RIDICULOUS.
