Smoke Alarms & Co Detector
Early Warning is Crucial
2 in 1 Smoke & CO Alarm
Different Types of Smoke Alarm

[Hardwired interconnection] Up to 12 smoke alarms can be interconnected to cover your entire home. When one detects smoke, they all make a sound to alert everyone in the house, creating an interconnected safety net for your home.
[9V Battery backup] Hardwired smoke detectors are equipped with DC 9V batteries. Ensure that all units are always connected and continue to function properly, even in the event of a power failure. Low battery alarm reminds you to replace the battery as soon as possible. If an error occurs, the system automatically triggers the fault mode, prompting you to check the device.
[Test Mute button and LED light] It is connected with other alarms. Just press the test/mute button on one of the units to test or mute the entire interconnected system. If the smoke alarm is in normal working condition, the green LED light is always on and the red LED light flashes every 32 seconds
[Photoelectric smoke sensor] Based on advanced photoelectric technology, smoke alarms can be more sensitive, fast, accurate measurement of smoke levels. More than 85 decibels of alarm sound, you can more clearly hear the danger coming.
[Simple installation] The installation of smoke alarm is very simple. The AC connector is connected only to the mains power and signal cables. (Please connect as instructed)

Replacing every ten years
First thing I learned is smoke detectors need to be replaced every ten years. I was not aware of that. Our alarms started chirping so naturally I thought it was time to replace the backup batteries in our units. I replaced them all with fresh batteries but the intermittent chirping continued. That being the case I determined one of the detectors had gone bad. When I removed the detector I thought was the causing the problem the chirping continued. It’s then that I read the label information on the back of the detector I had removed that stated replace after ten years, ours where going on thirteen years of operation. The chirping was the detectors signaling it was time to replace them. We have a total of five detectors in our home. I found a package of four on Amazon for around sixty three dollars. I ordered an additional one of the same make for nineteen dollars. All our detectors are of the hard wire type and the existing connectors where not compatible with the new detectors, so I had to wire in the new connectors that came with the new detectors along with the new mounting plates. I don’t have a problem working around electric circuits so I completed the installation of four detectors in about a hour. I still need to install the last of five but I just received it today. These detectors are of good quality and very reasonably priced. Installation is not that difficult if you don’t mind working with electric circuits. I highly recommend these detectors.

Wired Fire Detection
These work well and look clean on a white ceiling. Installed them all within a couple of hours, tested them, and they are plenty loud. Appreciated that they came with the 9 volt battery for each already. The only hiccup (and the reason for one star being knocked off) was they didn’t come with twist wire connectors (you need 3 per unit) and we didn’t have enough on-hand. Would be nice if they threw some of those into the package so we didn’t need to go looking for more in order to install/connect them. Otherwise, these are a fine buy.

Hard to I stall
This product is very hard to install. The mounting hardware works only with drywall. The screws provided do not fit the holes in junction boxes plus the holes in the mounting bracket do not line up with the holes in junction boxes. It’s not possible to substitute other screws that might fit a junction box as a screw with a larger head will cause the unit main body to not be able to twist on to the mounting bracket. After 4 hours I finally got one unit installed. To do that I had to drill holes in the mounting bracket that lined up with the holes in the junction box and I had to super glue toothpicks into the junction box holes so that I could get the tiny screws that came with the unit to hold. Even twisting on the main body to the mounting bracket is difficult as one must precisely line up the main body with the mounting bracket before even twisting the 1/16th or so revolution. There were no marks to indicate how to align this so I ended up penciling some marks on myself. In the future I will look for a smoke detector with a front loading battery.
