Photoelectric and Electrochemical Sensors with Intelligent Chipset
An equipped photoelectric sensor enables the earliest possible warning of fire while minimizing false alarms. It also features an advanced electrochemical sensor that detects carbon monoxide leaks from a variety of sources, such as fuel-burning appliances.
LED Indicator
This alarm uses a 3-colored LED indicator to clearly inform you of the alarm’s working status. A green LED indicates normal operation, red indicates an alarm, and yellow indicates a fault.
TEST/SILENCE Button
A TEST/SILENCE button allows you to test the alarm to ensure it is functioning properly. If a false alarm occurs, simply push the button once to silence it. Make sure to test your alarm once a week.
Dust-Proof Isolation Plate
This alarm is equipped with a dust-proof isolating plate to prevent dust from getting into the electronic components. It also helps smoke pass through the sensor without being disturbed or blocked by dust and dirt.
Easy Installation
Simply install onto a ceiling or wall using the included mounting bracket, screws, and anchor plugs.
Activates Automatically
The unit will automatically turn on when it is properly installed on the mounting bracket.
Self-Check Function
It automatically tests the battery level and sensors every 60 seconds to ensure normal functioning.

I bought these to replace an expired set of X-Sense 10 year smoke alarms. The old ones actually lasted a little longer than 10 years (my bad), so I’m pretty confident that these will last as long as advertised. The installation was easy and the addition of CO detection makes these a little larger so it covers all the mounting holes from previous alarms. The CO detection also gives me greater peace of mind since I have a gas furnace. They are loud, as smoke detectors should be. They are also probably the nicest looking alarms I’ve ever had – very nice design. I haven’t had any false alarms so far. Overall, I very happy with these. Definitely worth the money for combo smoke/CO alarms.

“No support” still under warranty period
The combination unit is warranted for 5 years. I have one unit that is defective. It triggered although the rest of them are not. All on the same floor different bedrooms and another in the hall. I hit reset would keep triggering, even took it out side. There is a deactivate lever. The battery is sealed can’t be removed. 10 year battery.The support group took my email two weeks ago. I still have not received support. On my fifth call today , now goes to voicemail. DO NOT Purchase.
