SYNOPSISI bought this on a lark since it was fairly cheap. When I used it on my neck, I was genuinely dumbstruck by how much pain it made me notice. The device itself did not hurt me — it made me aware of how very tight my neck muscles are!To give you a sense of what the decive does: it is effectively two balls (about the size of golf balls, and with the “give” of a tennis ball) that are affixed to a flexible plastic bar. You apply manual pressure to squeeze a target area between the two balls. The balls do not rotate or roll — they apply firm, even pressure based on your exertion.This device SHOULD NOT BE USED by anyone who has serious neck injuries. This device SHOULD NOT BE USED without understanding that you are applying firm pressure to a very delicate area of the body. Specifically, you must be careful not to press against your carotid artery — that can kill you or cause a blood clot/stroke. Barely useful – for smaller necks only!
Good for small neck size only.I have average neck for grown man and I feel like this thing will SNAP at any time as I have to open it very wide just to get barely close to rear impacted area of neck (~30% in from rear of neck?)Since opening very wide, it feels like it doesn’t press inward at the right angle. I don’t know if they sold these in sizes, but make sure before you buy this.I can tell it wound help a bit if it was just the right size.Cheers!

It works
I’m learning how to use this as I lean back in a high-backed computer chair. Putting the device on the head rest provides back pressure as I can mitigate force applied backwards as I adjust contact with sensitive pressure points on my neck. Not gonna lie, this thing seems to be working so well that I might buy another one as a back-up in case the original breaks. This device will give you relief.

Works well on my sore neck!
I have had a knot (or knots) in my neck for years now. It’s always sore! I went to a physical therapist recently to try to fix the problem. One of the things he recommended was that I purchase one of these personal neck massagers. I’m so glad I did! I just received it yesterday and I can already tell this is helping. It gets deep into the knot, similar to the feeling when my PT is working on my neck. I have high hopes for this!

This was recommended to me and as a massage therapist I was dubious but it is an amazing self treatment for the neck from the base of skull to the upper traps. I love it I don’t need to rely on anyone to give myself a decent amount of pressure if I want or just a light touch on points
