Nice space saving exercise tool
Pretty pleased with these, I’m happy about the purchase but I don’t like how the little red knob thing sticks out to the side.. it can get caught on your pockets unless you make an effort to keep it towards the outside.

I really like my power lock dumbbells. It’s so quick to switch the weight blocks by the plastic insert which I thought it might be too weak but it’s totally not. It’s from 15 lbs to up to 50 lbs. additionally weights are options to purchase. And you can gradually increase the weight as your needs by 2.5 lbs. the grabbing desgins can fit most of the weigh lifting exercises. Anyway it’s a good choice to have for daily workouts

Edit 12/4/23 I bought the last expansion pack to complete the set from 5-90lbs.Original review:Unlike some others I got my dumbbells and plastic selector rods intact although one box was a little beat up otherwise it survived the delivery process. The box seemed to be taped together to denote a pair but the tape was only on one box so it was probably separated on purpose and address labels were on both boxes.Opening the boxes reveals the selector rods on top of a styrofoam covering the dumbbells and it is cradled on a form fitted styrofoam bottom for travel but I would not be surprised if there are accidents when shipping.I had the bowflex 552 for 12 years and wanted to expand the weight of the dumbbells so I picked up the power blocksI don’t have a gym membership and I’ve been working out at home for 20 years. So I’m not too familiar with the single weight dumbbells. But weight is weight their prob more compact and it more stable than adjustable dumbbells.When I first received I didn’t like the rubber grip because it felt greasy. It was slipping from my grip so I cleaned it with a Clorox wipe and it has improved drastically.I don’t know why people hate the cage of the hand that much. I like the cage handle. I actually turn the weight so when I pick it up the padded cage “bars” leans on my wrist so I use that to stabilize the weight as I perform my dumbbell bench pressing. This is an advantage I feel.The annoying thing is the two 2.5 adder weights to add or subtract for smaller incremental increases or decreases. On this powerblock the adder weight chamber gets locked as you return the handle to the weights. You won’t be able to operate the blocks without closing them.Also need to be mindful of the rod selector as you are choosing your weight make sure its level and is capturing the weight you want. It can easily go in lopsidedAnother thing I found was that when you’re doing bicep curls the red tab can get snagged on your pants/shorts as you’re curling up. I have rectified it by turning the block 180 degrees so those tabs are on the outside so it won’t snag.Also do not drop these weights it might get twisted and a bit mangledAlthough there is no cradle you still have to return the weights gently into the weight stack.The weights feel great in the hand and it smaller when your using less weight as opposed to the bowflex 552 which has the same length through out.OverallI recommend these weghts for your gym

The Perfect Home Gym Addition!
Let’s break it down! I’ve been eyeing these weights for some time now well over a year and I’ve got to admit I’m extremely happy with my purchase!Look/feel: now for the look it does come off a bit jarring at first especially coming from never had used a closed cage design of dumbell but it took me no time at all to adjust to this alternative style of free weights, additionally the weight feels more centralized which makes for a better lifting experience overall! Another plus is it feeling way better to throw up on my shoulders when hitting squats or even lunges as opposed to having to throw the weights to my sides! Lastly the actual feel of hold of the weights is amazing now granted at first I had a little anxiety with the weights slipping or the whole thing falling on me but the lock holds in place very snug and keeps the weights in place I even threw them around a bit and they held on very nicely!Price: now this was a huge factor of course with any product however the $400 price tag is super steep! The biggest factor to me though was the fact this set is expandable and if need be I could purchase additional weights that go up to 90lbs or even replacement weights! I’ve also been researching a lot on both YouTube and here on Amazon and a majority of reviews all report longevity within the product, now granted I’ve only had a small amount of time with the weights but I can definitely feel and tell that these weights are sturdy and will last me awhile! Additionally being expanded it negates the issues with other adjustable weights which don’t have expansions and require an entire new weight purchase which long term will definitely run you more long term! Despite all that though $400 is for sure a very steep price to pay especially for only 15-50lbs! If this product were to be $325-$350 I’d say it’s a steal! However this is a price similar with many other similar products!Overall: with the addition of the adder weights and having full control and customization over how much weight I’d like to load makes these adjustable dumbbells a great bargain however the steep price tag makes for a tough decision when biting the bullet and buying especially with so many other adjustable free weights on the market! If your just starting a home gym and want some smaller scale while being able to hit all your workouts these make a great addition and ensure minimal space is taken up while achieving all needs of free weight workouts!

I was a bit skeptical about the blocky shape at first, but it hasn’t interfered with any exercises. I already have an Iron Master dumbbells and will keep them for goblets, heavy lifts, and other exercises.Powerblocks are great for quick changes to keep things moving. Not so great for overhead tricep extensions, squats & other movements where you need to hold the underside of the dumbbell.

Bekväma att använda i alla möjliga övningar.Viktigt att veta att EXP betyder att man kan expandera / utöka vikten genom att köpa tilläggs vikter / plattor. Jag kommer köpa till steg 2 om några månader.Finns inget pris för högt för hälsa och träning!
