Overall good trimmer
Got this to replace my old Phillips that died. Picked this one because it was cheap. Works great and holds a charge, doesn’t get gummed up with hair and you don’t have to stop every few swipes to clean it out. Works the same as the $50 one a family member has. Easy to hold (I have small hands) and the guards clip on securely. Easy to clean.

This trimmer is awesome. Plenty of options with a variety of clips for beard and hair trimming. Easy to use and switch between clips. Fully charged lasts quite awhile. Very recommended.

Face and Head ONLY
Good product. Good brand. Inexpensive. Seems like it’ll last. Works best for tough skin types. Only downside is the harshness. No pain or anything horrible, but leaves red scratches and probably isn’t good for the skin. Anywhere intimate or soft on the body is going to be extra risky.

Excellent for hair, beard, and everywhere
I’m very happy with being able to use the trimmer guards to get a more consistent length when I’m trimming my beard. Previously, I’d either use scissors and a comb to keep from cutting off too much or cutting skin, or just shave everything off entirely. Once I figured out how to remove and change trimmer heads, it’s become so easy to use and take care of. The guards are all marked with their sizes in millimeters (though it was hard to see at first), and they feel like they work well regardless of which direction you shave from.I originally got this set with the intention of having a part-shaved hairstyle and then maintaining it myself. I was going to have a professional cut it first, but eventually I tried it out myself and it actually came out okay.I think I really do enjoy using this more than a razor. Razors often get clogged with hair so quickly, making the process take forever, but I haven’t had problems with this shaver. The only downside is that a shaver doesn’t get quite as close to the skin (the booklet it comes with says it can cut hair to 1/64 of an inch in length), but that’s kinda to be expected, and I was still fine with the end result. I bet it’d work well in combination with a razor – shaving off the bulk of hair with this and then going to a razor for more detail work. It’s very comfortable to use, and I think would be great for people who are new to shaving, since even putting extra force hasn’t caused any razor cuts yet. I have gotten a couple razor cuts from shaving armpits, but the skin texture is softer/different, which probably contributed to this.Overall, definitely happy with this product and actually makes me not dread that the process will take forever, because it’s very quick and easy.

Works Great
Bought this to cut my own hair. Works really well. Save money from going to the barber and just cut your own hair. The noise level is pretty low to be honest it’s not overly loud or annoying. Small size clippers easy to hold and manage My hair is basic short cut easy to gel easy to manage so decided to just start doing it myself and I’ve been doing pretty good! clippers and a pair of hair sheers and cut your own hair in the mirror.

Fantastic bit of basic kit for the facial-haired out there… but issues u need to be aware of
The price — gotta mention this value is thru the roof… w/ caveat, detailed later.I do like Philips products — my Sonicare has been going strong for years now, granted very careful treatment and regular maintenance. Good engineering, and not planned obsolescence behind plausible deniability, will always find my wallet out to reward. Mostly, Philips has delivered for products I’ve purchased from them — not always the least expensive… but when has that ever meant the best quality, given the hoards of PRC-made crap that lasts a fortnight at pennies on the dollar? Much rather pay one and done for something I can depend on, vs. several times at cutrate price.Don’t get me wrong — Philips is not a model mfr, far from it. But their personal care stuff usually asks for a bit more cash for a lot more product.So then this came across my gaze — is that the actual price? Luckily my facial hair has grown to teh point of genuine need for tools… so at that price, just had to see what Philips had to offer.Hands down… this is a great little set of basic clipper tools for your male gob. Nose hair trimmer was a boon — will defo make use of that, as well as guards for the normal wide clipper + a narrow-gauge one. All I need, really. And there are more well-equipped sets to get should you want more for not much more cash.Only possible gripe out the box, is reversal of orange-means-on, no-orange-means-off on this unit’s power switch. Rather if you turn it on (granted the | and O power icons are on the switch) the orange paint disappears. The switch is also a *touch* difficult to slide. I do realise I’m reaching very far into the weeds here — and tbh, it all took 3s to get used to, and doesn’t affect the function of the clippers in use.So sold on this Multi Groomer 3000 13-pc so far — will update if any quality issues crop up, once daily-using. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️—UPDATE 17 JUL 2025:Have been using this months now on the regular. Still dislike the hi-effort slide switch… but have also come to seriously dislike the fact its charger wall-wart has a green LED on it… which does nothing? Doesn’t indicate the charge state of the clipper or status of the charger itself? Basically have to plug it in and wait some arbitrary time to insure it *might* be fully-charged. Has already ambushed me on a short trip abroad; luckily just plugged it in on my travel adapter. But fully-charged, this would’ve easily not needed it the whole trip. No way to know, however.Would be really handy Philips Norelco, if the clipper or charger had some way to indicate actual charge state. Not as if hundreds nay thousands of personal tech products worldwide don’t come standard with such.So for this glaring oversight I would’ve paid $10 more for the product to have, taking a star. Four stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️__

While the product feels premium, certain things make the entire experience disappointing. The blade is sharp which is good for trimming beard but beware while using it to trim body hair. I had several cuts while using it for the aforesaid purpose. Battery life is good but would have been useful to provide indicator to know when the battery is full. At this price there are several other trimmers who provide much more features at this price so functionality wise the trimmer is not so advanced in comparison to other trimmers in the market.
