Great BP Monitor for Perople on the Go
A friend needed a BP device that is easy to use, space-saving for travel, and had options for simple recording of daily results for logging BP trends. But, it also had to be accurate and consistent by medical industry standards. I researched options through Consumer Reports and medical sites on line, and found that the OMRON Evolv met those needs. It is battery powered, and the cuff has no lines that go to a reader. Instead, the cuff itself contains all the electronics and has a read-out screen easily viewed on the inflated cuff itself. The cuff attaches directly to one’s upper arm and is held firmly by a velcro closure. The blood pressure and heart rate can be saved for computer access later or, as my friend prefers, simply hand-copied into a small notebook for reference and easy day-to-day comparison of results, with the advantage of having room to make notes about day-to-day activities that might explain any large variances affecting one’s BP. My friend reports this is a game changer for her to easily comply with reporting her daily records over time to her doctor. In short, the OMRON Evolv made taking her blood pressure easy, whereas her other older OMRON model was too big and bulky to take on the fly for all the traveling she does. In summary, the Evolv may be ideal for busy users who need a compact system that can help them comply with doctor’s orders for daily records.

Flawless Sync and Great Comfort for Daily Tracking
I have been using this Omron Bluetooth Blood Pressure cuff daily for the past three weeks, and I am extremely happy, especially with the seamless connectivity and comfortable fit. This monitor has made daily tracking far less of a chore.Seamless Syncing:My biggest concern with any Bluetooth health device is the syncing reliability, but this Omron cuff has been flawless. I always open the Omron Connect app before taking my measurement, and the moment the reading is complete, it syncs instantly. I have experienced absolutely zero issues with the data transfer, which makes keeping an accurate log very convenient.Comfort and Sizing:The physical design is excellent. The cuff size is generously proportioned and is plenty large enough for my arm, making the measurement process comfortable rather than a tight squeeze. The main unit’s display is also very clear and easy to read quickly. It measures similarly to my prior blood pressure cuff readings.App Features:Beyond just tracking BP and pulse, I appreciate the additional health features in the app. Once I entered my height and weight, the app automatically started tracking my BMI (Body Mass Index) alongside my blood pressure history.

Great smart features and automatic syncing
A great tool for tracking blood pressure. I haven’t yet compared it to any other devices for accuracy, but back to back readings are always consistent. After initially setting up bluetooth with my iPhone, it now automatically uploads my readings to my phone without even going into the app. I appreciate this functionality since I don’t have to take any additional steps to keep a record of my blood pressure history. You can also delete individual readings as needed if someone else were to use the cuff.

Like the design but a little tricky to use
I really like this Blood Pressure Monitor (BPM) device due to its design. I wanted an one piece design BPM that is easy to put on and can make the measurement quickly. This BPM does both, but one issue prevented it from getting 5 stars.When I first use it, I keep getting an error message that basically says I’m putt the BPM over clothing, but I was not. It was quite frustrating because it just would not make any measurements. I was about to return this BPM until I figure out the correct place to place it on my arm for it to work. IT took me a few tries, but if I align the dot with my vein and put it lower on my arm then it works. Due to this reason, I give it only 4 stars.

Small and seems to work well.
Seems to run in line with measurements with other devices, and with legit clinic/hospital automated pumps and also manual sphygmometers. I like the small and easy to use compact size as well. I did run into issues at first with heart rate detection errors, but those went away completely after the first week or so with no changes on my end, so I don’t know if this thing “learns” over time and adjusted, or what the issues were. Syncs well with my Google/Samsung Health apps, but you don’t need those in order to use this. You can just use it “dumb” and only have it give out readings that you record yourself.

Very good and accurate had a few issues setting it up with the iPhone but once that was resolved it is excellent

Best BP machine in the market. Most importantly it is very accurate and the readings matches the doctors bp apparatus. Yes it is expensive, but most of the cheaper models are not accurate. The Bluetooth connection is flawless and the readings sync with your phone (have tried only on Apple iPhone) and the health app on iPhone. The app is basic but that’s what’s needed – a place where all readings can be stored. The cuff is moulded and is very easy to put on by self if others are not around. The app also notifies for any arrhythmias (like afib, pvcs etc). Very easy to carry around while travelling. The photo shows the machine in white colour but received a full black one (thanks for that). A must have instrument for all hypertensive patients, or even others who want to keep a check on their BP.
