Powerful suction, Self-emptying, Mopping, Lidar Navigation! It has it all!
I’ve been using robotic vacuums since they first came out and cost 5-times what this one does and hands-down, this is a value not be passed up. This dual vacuum and mop robotic vacuum has all the features you want — especially, self-emptying. At this price-point, it would be senseless to buy one that does not have this feature and this one works quite well. The battery lasted over 2 hours, cleaning carpet and hardwood floors. Connectivity to the app was seamless and simple and I encountered no issues. The vacuum itself was powerful and did a great job cleaning the carpet and floors. It retuned to the base and self-emptied as it was supposed to. A map of the house that I wanted cleaning was created as it did it’s initial run, which I was able to label rooms and in the future dictate what rooms, I want cleaned or all rooms. Since I use Alexa, I set it up to use voice commands from Alexa and this went Smoothly. I have transition kick plates between the kitchen and living room and bathroom and bedroom and it was able to navigate over the thresholds without any issues.Scheduling in the app is a breeze and this is really how I use the robotic vacuums and occasionally will do a verbal command to clean ad-hoc.Overall, I’m impressed for the features you get at this price point. It appears well made and from past experience I know it does need occasional maintenance of cleaning around the wheels, the filters, etc., which should not be an issue. I would expect, based on the heaviness of the machine and how seamless it worked out of the box, not to have any major issues with this.If you’re looking for an inexpensive yet what appears to be a durable and well made self-cleaning, strong suction, Lidar navigation, mop and vacuum robotic cleaner, I think this is an incredible deal at this price point! Well done!

MS1 Max – James Bond Tech
Let me start and say – I’m not a firm believer in robot vacuums. Our last vacuum was a Eufy and it was an exceptionally “dumb” robot. It would bounce around our house and get stuck on cords or in a tight corner about 75% of the time. I decided to give the MS1 a shot, as the LIDAR(light detection and range) feature was intriguing. Unboxing was standard. The robot itself, a microfiber mop pad, an extra mop pad, a cleaning/cutting tool for the vacuum, an extra vacuum bag, an extra hepa filter, a self emptying/charging base station, and a remote control. Ok, all standard stuff. I was VERY happy to see that the robot uses the Smart Life app(I have like 8 smart switches on this app and it has excellent automation/support). Syncing with the app was easy and it had a tutorial via the app. Now for the moment of truth: start up. The app explained that the MS1 needed to start a mapping clean cycle. I started the clean and watched the robot get to work. This is where the real magic happens, I know this sounds absurd, but it’s real: the robot started to draw a high def map of every little corner, toy, wall, door, piece of furniture….right before my eyes on the app. I was stunned at the level of detail this thing was mapping. It knew where it was at all times and put a little blue location dot on the map of the house. Mind absolutely blown. Once the mapping was complete, it started to clean. It literally did a grid pattern on the selected room(you could see where it has cleaned on the app). This thing is absolutely unbelievable, and I attribute most of this to the LIDAR and excellent software. The battery life seems solid, our house is 3000sq ft and it can complete a full clean(although I suspect that it might degrade with age, which is normal). You select/draw red “exclusion” zones where the robot will not go. You can select single or multiple rooms for the robot to vacuum(it names rooms numerically) or draw an area for the robot to clean. It’s insanely cool. The robot knows where the base station is and will return to recharge and suck out its collection into the base station. You have many settings in the app – one of those is to select how often to empty the robot into the base station(I have it on every 2nd cleaning). I have not tried the mop functionality yet because of wood floors but it seems very intuitive and you can also select where to apply mopping or just vacuum on the map. There is a water reservoir under the trash collection bin and the microfiber pad is what “mops”. I think this device is a vacuum first and foremost and the mop is a nice added feature, but the “smart” vacuum is where it shines. Never thought I would write a raving review about a vacuum but here I am, and I’m truly blown away by this gadget. 10/10 recommend.

I love the self-emptying feature, it saves a lot of time and keeps the bin from filling up too fast.The app is easy to use, and it works perfectly with Alexa. I also like the self-empty feature, absolute game-changer! It saves me so much time and effort. It docks itself back into its charging station like a pro. I’m really happy with this robot vacuum. It works well on carpet, hardwood, and tile. Setting up through the APP was quick and easy. The vacuum first mapped the room, then proceeded to mop, which is smart and efficient process. I could see my floor plan through the APP. Amazing. I like that I can separate the vacuuming and mopping into two sections. After each run, I can clearly see that the floors are clean, and it does a great job picking up hair as well. It’s a reliable and convenient cleaning tool.
