Gets the job done, and with alot less stress about nicks
This trimmer is great. It feels solid, charges fast. The additional attachment, I find myself getting tugged by the “outside blades,” which is annoying, but I generally stick to the main attachment and have no problems. Works great for both body and below-the-belt grooming. The light helps more than you’d think, and cleanup is quick. Definitely worth the price.

UPDATE: Used the Manscaped foil shaver in the shower. Worked fine everywhere until I used it on my balls and underside. It painfully bit many times. Ordered replacement foil shaver heads and will see if that corrects the issue. If not my star rating will go way down and the razor will go back.I like many males today enjoy a cleaner appreance with less body hair. My “manscaping” consisted of an electric beard trimmer and razor. This method left me many times with razor burns and nicks, especially in my more private areas. Recently I had rotator cuff surgery. Down to using one arm I lost my full body grooming ability so I researched electric body shavers and settled on giving a Manscape 5.0 shaver a try.Razor is high quality and waterproof. Comes with 3 guards, electric changing cord, two shaving heads and a nice storage case.I tried out the shaver in the shower. Has a built in LED light. The trimmer head easily groomed the longer hair on chest and privates with ease. No pulling or grabbing. Changing the shaver heads are easy. The foil covered trimmer finishes the job by giving an almost razor like smooth finish with no cuts or nicks especially on the scrotum. To fully groom my body it took 20 minutes and the charged razor never hesitated once. I really liked the way the Manscape razor performed. My only regret is I wish I would of bought one along time ago. If you, like me, believe less hair is best especially on the sensitive pubic area then I would highly recommend The Manscape electric razor.

Best ball trimmer ever
If you’re even thinking about it. Just do it! This is the first time I didn’t cut myself trimming the old hedges. And I was able to go around the curviest of curves with speed and determination and everything came out great. I was using a Phillips Norelco beard trimmer and the results were not the greatest. Constant knicks and stinging for days, Not with this. Has several attachments so you can get the perfect length and the battery life seems to be pretty good too. Even though it didn’t take very long. I was probably in and out 5 minutes flat with the grooming ability that this has.

I did a ton of research before settling on the latest manscaped trimmer. I was surprised to see all the nay sayers online and on YouTube in the reviews on it but when I researched the products they were promoting all I ever saw was smaller price tags and more attachments.Personally I think they might just be getting paid to knock manscaped since they’re sponsored by other brands and likely can’t get in on the manscaped marketing budget that used to be quite huge for how artificially popular it was before.In exchange for these smaller price tags and more attachments it seems like you’d be giving up the built in light that helps you spot stray hairs. Type C charging in some cases, battery life in most cases and durability occasionally.Ill admit the light was a pretty big selling point for me and I like being able to use type C chargers for everything since they’ve been mandated for all phones in the UK. So they’re only going to get more popular over time and that kinda future proofs this one.I got the manscape 3.0 about 5 years back when they didn’t have a type C charger variant. After so many years my battery started to have a harder time holding a charge and although I’m big on repairing things I figured with all the improvements they’ve been making it’s worth giving the new thing a try. $100 for 5 years ends up being about $1.67/mth which really isn’t that bad. The old trimmer still works and it does cut faster than this new super safe version of the 5.0 but I really enjoy having a brighter light, a stronger battery and the multiple attachments. Specifically the foil attachment that mimics a tight razor shave quite well.I think if I could I might have opted for the 3.0 new version with the type C charger just because I’m not a huge fan of the safety on this 5.0 but the case is novel and I like the squared edges on the handle making it less prone to rolling and slightly easier to handle.There’s my honest take on it.The 3.0 is probably better if you just want a quick trim once in a while. The 5.0 is more versatile over all and has a nicer feel.
