Buy New — Used Like New One Arrived DOA
Note: Originally purchased “Used-Like New”, which arrived DOA. The blue wire running to the LED strip had broken out of the housing. Also, no instructions were enclosed indicating that the installation info was available only from a QR code on the inside of the strip light housing. The instruction link on the Amazon item page led to the wrong instructions. So, Amazon gets one start for their Resale department on this one. It was easy to return and order another — this time brand new.Acuity Lighting gets an A+ for their help. I was able to call and speak to someone, and was emailed a schematic and instructions from their tech support team, followed by a phone call.The new unit was easy to install and works perfectly. The light is very bright, and perfect for the closet application. The color temperature is a little harsh, so I would not recommend this unit in any other home setting than a closet or garage.

Great light, good value, easy to mount.
I purchased two of these lights…They were for a kitchen. Nice and bright, great value. One I placed over the sink, hidden so unit does not show. Perfect for locations like this. You need to provide your own cable clamp to secure the romex entering the fixture. FYI: there are knock-outs at either end and in the middle. Nice! Note there is a driver inside the fixture and so many wires: pink, purple, reds, very very busy in/out of the driver. NOTE you have look for the Black /White wires are curled up one end. :0 Note the plastic tubing over the light strip can be removed-snaps on/off easily. In case like me your end caps fell off and into the tube itself. Not too hard to get out if remove the curved covers. Be careful the light strip can pull loose. Those end caps are not very secure but work fine. I would buy this again.

Great little lite-weight light.I placed it over the sink to replace my old one which burned out.Lights up the sink area beautifully & makes for a nice night time light.

I got this to replace a 3 ft fluorescent strip fixture that died. Because nobody has figured a way to accurately quantify brightness between conventional lamps and LEDs, It’s aways a guess how bright the LEDs will be. This fixture turned out to be brighter than the 2 x 25W fluorescent it replaced, if that helps.Installation is simple. Two screws and three wires. The fixture has three screews that stick out too far but rahter than cut or file them I just added a few washers so the screws don’t protrude. The only real negative is that this is a cool, blue/green white light. It’s ok in my kitchen but it would be better in places like a garage where you don’t care what color the light is. Why didn’t I buy a warm white or adjustible color temperature? Because I couldn’t find one that was similar in price. In my kitchen, this fixture goes in an enclosure, sort of a light box, so you don’t even see the actual fixture, therefore no need for anything fancy.

A 20 year old florescent fixture above my sink in the kitchen started acting up. *** ITs noteworthy to check for heat build-up on old florescent fixtures. I believe my old light would have caused a fire if I had not replaced it. The Ballast inside was actually sizzling! The new fixture was easy to install and provide a nice clean, bright replacement. Note that the way to take it apart is not well described, but it is easy to figure out. A+ in my books
