5. Why doesn’t the humidifier turn off immediately when the water tank is empty?
The float in the base controls the auto shut-off function to stop the machine. There may be a slight delay in the shut-off time, but there is no safety concern. Additionally, a red light will indicate when the machine turns off due to a low water level.

Finally a perfect humidifier…
A few months ago we purchased the LVAC-300 Cordless Vacuum and continue to be very impressed with it so we purchased the Levoit Top Fill Humidifier.We didn’t have to because the humidifiers we used previously are working fine but we are happy we did. The Levoit humidifier is quiet & attractive. You can’t tell there’s an appliance in the room.This humidifier is the perfect size, easy to fill and works all night. Our previous humidifiers would not last through the night but this one does. And it’s easy to clean. We are very happy with this purchase.Levoit is now our go to small appliance company.

Nice humidifier.
This personal humidifier works well. No smell. Very quiet. The directions for cleaning could be more clear, but it’s pretty easy to clean.One thing to be aware of..you will have to change the water filters & change them often. I have city water but my filter turned brown in 5 days. So I tried distilled water & it still turned brown in 8 days, which is mysterious to me. That seems very quick to need to change a water filter, especially with distilled water! Just be prepared to buy the filters to go with the humidifier.Also, the water reservoir is not as securely sitting on the base as I would like. You will need to keep it away from children. Easy to dislodge from the base.The ability to fill from the top is a plus, though. All in all it’s a decent humidifier and the price is quite good.

No lights, quiet, easy to clean. It works well and reasonably priced. I have several of these scattered about the house bc larger ones need an app or make too much noise. I wanted simple and got exactly what I wanted.

Works well. Watching the cold steam pour out of the top is satisfying. Bought this to help with a bad bout of bronchitis and didn’t want to increase the heat in my already-hot room. Simple operation, helped a bit with my illness, not too big but big enough to get the job done. One refill lasts well over a day on the lowest setting, about 8 hours if you crank it up to the max (which was way more than I ended up needing for just my bedroom, in the end).Tank is sort of awkwardly sized and won’t fit under a sink tap, so I have to carry it downstairs to the bathroom or the kitchen to refill it, but it’s not heavy and it lasts a while. Haven’t had it more than a couple weeks, so I can’t speak for any color change, but to be honest: I don’t care if it changes color, I care if it WORKS, and it does.

Good for small spaces
We use the larger capacity Levoit humidifier in our bedroom, and it’s a solid workhorse. I needed something for my very dry office for the winter and 2.5L is the perfect amount for portability and practical use of space on my desk.“Installation” was simply a matter of taking the plastic cover off the tank, filling it, and plugging it in. Extremely straightforward, no leakage. The settings dial is basic and easily adjustable. My office is less than 300sq ft and this provides the perfect amount of humidity so my skin doesn’t throw a fit as winter approaches.Super pleased with the fact this humidifier makes zero noise and has a lengthy run time without having to refill.My only critique of Levoit products would be the stem through which steam emits can not be angled horizontally in any capacity.

Easy to use and seems to work very well
I’m impressed by how well this works! Disclaimer: this is the first humidifier I’ve ever purchased, so I don’t have anything to compare it to. Bought it for my mum on the recommendation of her ear-nose-throat doc. We live in the tropics, so I couldn’t imagine it would help, but she said, after just one night of use, it was noticeably easier to breathe through her nose.Setup was very easy, the unit is very quiet, it’s very nice that you can adjust the “volume” with a simple “dial,” it produces mist almost instantly, and cleaning was easy (after watching the video 🙂 ). I was a little surprised by how much water it can use in a night at a medium setting – over half the tank. Not a problem, just an observation. Random added benefit: watching the mist come out of the machine is very calming.

Best humidifier I have ever owned! This is so simple, perfectly quiet, no lights (yeah) and raises humility even in a room to desired level with very tall ceiling. Easy to refill and no mess at all!Given the cost of distilled water, coupled with a water softener, we elected to use tap water. The cost of this item to replace, should that be necessary, is less than the price of distilled water for a month. Looks like a very easy clean with no crannies to cause issues.

Easy breezy
It’s a nice size gets you through 24 hours plus I like that you don’t have to keep changing a filter all the time. It’s quiet, does the trick in the bedroom, cool air moisture if you’re prone to sinus infections and dry nose, it seems to help. Easy to fill and clean.

This product works great, is super quiet and releases alot of mist as required. Simple to set up, just add water and plug in. Me gusta mucho el producto. Sirve conforme a lo que se indica en las especificaciones. El ruido es muy bajito y no molesto; eso es muy bueno si te molestan los ruidos. La nivelación de vapor de agua es significativa, pues depende también la temperatura ambiental, en días más frescos el chorro sale muy fuerte como en el vídeo, pero en días muy calurosos baja la intensidad como si fuera el mínimo cuando trabajaba normal.Pero funciona muy bien para habitaciones pequeñas.
