Works great. I have only had it up to about 1/2 the output and it keeps my room around 50% humidity. No noise or anything else to complain about. It is easy to fill and easy to adjust the output.

Just about perfect, but leaking after two weeks use
Update: discovered the leak issue was apparently my mistake. I had moved the humidifier a few inches by picking it up by the water reservoir indented handles. Apparently this was enough to break the pressure seal between the tank and the base. Took the unit apart, checked the float, which was operating fine, and refilled the humidifier. Marked the water level with a crayon and left it in the kitchen sink overnight. Leak had stopped and no water lost. This was operator error on my part. If you have moved your humidifier when water is in the reservoir using the indented handles, there is a risk of leaks developing around the water reservoir and the base. As precaution, I placed a dollar store cake storage pan under the humidifier just in case. Changing my review to five stars. Very happy with the quiet operation, ease of cleaning, affordable replacement filters, and it’s ability to raise humidity in our 12′ x 15′ family room.Purchased four of this model as I trust the brand. Two were sent as gifts, and two are in our home. One began leaking two weeks from purchase. We are adults,no pets, humidifier is on the carpet and stays there. We don’t walk through that area. Use soft water only and clean it every few days. Will contact Levoit. We absolutely love the compact shape, easy to clean, basic design. It is quiet and made a great difference in the humidity comfort level. It really does cover the square footage claimed. Other than it leaks, we really like it, but am hesitant to replace the leaking one with the same model. We also bought two Levoit bedroom humidifiers, round 2 liters, and they are fantastic.

Product leaks/overflows and Levoit Customer Support Form Broken
UpdatedLevoit replaced the product at no additional cost. The issues with the original product are not a problem. I will update accordingly if that changes.Suggestion for potential buyers: Immediately test the tank for leaks. It’s a good product if you get one that is not faulty.– Original Review Below –PositivesThe humidifier is easy to use and works well (before the base overflows due to a tank leak from a faulty seal/spring mechanism).Issues- The product is reasonably quiet but there is a whine to it. You may get used it over time but there’s definitely an odd pitched sound.Critical Issues- The water tank leaks. I added a cup of water to the tank and let it sit on the counter for 10 minutes. At least a tablespoon of water had leaked out. This explains how the base chamber overflowed over time. I did not notice this for some time as the leak is slow and under normal operation just enough water is consumed.- The customer support form on the Levoit website does not work! I do not wish to track them down via social media but it may be the only alternative.I will adjust my review if/when Levoit responds to this issue.

Favorite humidifier I’ve tried
UPDATE: A year later, December 2024. So my first winter I bought this it worked perfectly without any issues. I dried it and stored it in its original box in my closet, and, took it out this year. Immediately it started leaking at the bottom seam of the tank itself. Not the plug-in electrical part. The tank itself, the part you can carry to fill it, where the white bottom of the tank meets the clear tank, the seam started leaking. I tried snapping it into place and putting caulk around the seam and letting it sit to cure for a few days, before refilling with water. The seam eventually starts leaking again and even breaking the caulk within a few days (this is heavy duty caulk so I don’t understand how this possible. It would appear the weight of 1.5 gallons of water just can’t withstand a seam in that location no matter what sealant you use, so I’m gonna call it a design flaw. I’m sad because I really liked this humidifier the first year I used it.So I usually prefer something warm mist instead of cool mist during the winter, and for some reason I thought this was warm mis. It’s cool mist. Usually I’d worry about mold in cold water, but I’ve been using those little cleaning balls with the beads in them, and that has helped. So far no mold.This helps me so much with breathing when the air gets dry here, and I just turn on the space heater when I turn the humidifier on to keep things warm.It’s quiet, no obnoxious lights, holds a lot of water, stays clean, and produces a lot of mist for a good long while (at least 12 hours it seems like). Definitely happy with this purchase.

I’ve had Air Innovations humidifiers for years and I finally got tired of how horrible they were to clean, and you can’t get in a lot of the areas to remove the nasty gunk that built up even after a month, granted I was just adding tap water (and I have good tap water) and would run it 24/7, so I decided to research a totally different one. I bought this based on the reviews as well as what I really wanted. I wanted something large, that was top fill and also decided I would put filtered water in it, so I bought a fairly large zero 20 cup pitcher, as I use them anyway for my drinking water and since the humidifier is top fill I just fill it up every day and only run it at night. I wanted to wait until I’ve had a month and cleaned it so I could report. This was hands down SO much easier to clean. There was no gunk or crud at all. I would suggest having some sort of bottle brush or vase brush to clean it with to get in all the nooks and crannies, but I am super happy with this humidifier. It really puts out the moisture and I love the simple dial. It’s super solid, very quiet and nice looking and like I said easy to clean. I really am glad I purchased this!

I’m very pleased with this unit. It holds quite a bit of water, and is very efficient so doesn’t need to be refilled as often as you may think. The vent can turn 360 degrees to disperse in any direction, and I find it’s very quiet (just a gentle hum, no rattling, vibrating, etc.). It’s a bit annoying to refill in that there’s no handle, and it’s always dripping from the bottom of the container (unless you had run it dry, of course). Seems very well made. I would be another one.

This is hands down one of the best humidifiers you can get. Yes, there is no option to add perfume/essential oils on my variant. But it does the job well with contineous operation for days at a stretch. You do have to clean it up occasionally for any salt/mineral build up under the tank which will be common to any humidifier.Tank capacity is enough to last you a full day of operation. Filling the tank and using this product is fairly easy.

Overall the humidifier works quite efficiently and it operates very quietly. The tank is large and the first fill lasted 3 days, which pleased me, but subsequent fills are lasting just over a day and I’m not sure why. I’m going to go through a lot of Brita filters, using filtered water. 😁 Also, there doesn’t seem to be much difference between the lowest speed and the medium speed, which is a bit disappointing, as I would like to run it on low during the day and higher when I’m sleeping. I suspect that’s why the water is being used up so fast. Like other reviewers, I wish it had some sort of operation light so I could immediately tell in a dark room if it’s on. After only two weeks, it’s hard to say if I will continue liking it, but so far so good.
