Best price for a known brand name switch
For a name brand item (the same as all the original switches in our house), the price was down with the Chinese knock offs. I don’t like to buy those but sometimes they are just priced so much lower you can’t ignore them. That wasn’t the case with this one. One of my existing switches I am finally replacing as I never could get it to work via my Samsung hub. This one is supposed to work with Samsung Smart Things, Amazon, and others so I figured I’d give it a go.Although setup did not go as smooth as it was made out to be. However, after calling customer service (U.S. based) he was able to walk me through it and eventually got it set up. Once that was done, a routine was set up via Alexa and it now works perfectly. I went back today to order another one and it was now over $2 less than my first purchase, making it an even better deal.

Very nice matter switch
These matter switches work well and look nice. No additional apps needed just set it up with whatever you use. I’ve configured them all with home assistant, google home, alexa, and homekit. SmartThings, Hubitat, etc should work fine too. I originally started with 1 since I like the radiant line from Legrand but am now running 13 of these switches and dimmers. I’ve replaced all other smart switches with them and added a couple more.

Program to use as a timed on/off switch
This switch is an easy install for a DIY’er. As always, be sure to turn off power at the breaker and to have a ground wire available for installation. This is limited to 2.4 Ghz WiFI which is still common place as a backdown or a guest channel on most wireless networks. Installation was quick and simple with the two provided wire nuts. Syncing with an appropriate app is fairly straight forward. The key is to determine which app you want to use to control this. While you can add others via different paths as mentioned in other reviews, it is probably best to keep it simple and use with your main platform. Solid product that appears to be good quality and value.

One of the Best Smart Switches
Very satisfying click when toggled physically or via an app. Simple setup to Google Home, and from there I was able to share it with Home Assistant. Quick response time. I just wish there was a Matter over Thread version. I highly recommend this. Probably my favorite light switch out there, especially because it looks so normal and approachable to everyone. A lot of smart switches look complicated or intimidating, this is familiar and efficient.

Easy to Setup, Works w HomeKit
I’ve been using a few of these switches for a couple of weeks and they’ve been working great. Easy to wire up, easy to setup via the Home app, and no issues controlling the lights wirelessly. The screwless face plate is also nice.

Difficulty installing and stopped working
It would be a long story to let you know the difficulty I had linking to the app. Once itcwas linked, I set up a routine in Alexa to turn on at sunset and off at sunrise and it turned off around 3 AM.

Make your dumb lights smart!
I really like these Legrand switches for integrating a switch/light with homekit. The nice thing about this method (as opposed to smart bulbs), is it still works fine when you want to use the physical switch. This device paired quickly in my homekit environment and was easy to set automations. It feels well made and functions pretty much like a normal switch. I saw some complaints saying the up and down rocker aren’t differentiated but I’m not sure why that matters on a regular on/off switch (unless the light isn’t visible from where the switch is). The dimmer version of this switch does differentiate between the up and down buttons.There was a firmware issue that they have since fixed that caused it to disconnect from the network and it needed to be reset at the breaker. This has since been fixed. Their tech support was very helpful.Overall, I’m very happy with this switch and I plan to get more in the near future.

standard fit and physical install, added to my home kit easily, works consistently
This is pretty easy to set up. The physical was a little complicated, but my hubby was familiar with wiring light switches so that helped. The size of the device was standard and it fit in my wall perfectly. After physical install I was able to add the device to my home kit by following the included instructions. So far it allows to turn on and off pretty consistently and the smart controls are competent. My home kit allows for automation and scheduling, which will be convenient when we are away. The price of $20 right now is pretty competitive and I think this tech will last a while so I consider it a good value.Note the one thing to be aware of is that my house has WiFi with different security types, and this switch gets configured by your mobile device. We had to make sure that our phone was on the correct WPA2 preshared key SSID before configuring the switch.
