Excellent chair if you can get the screws to work.
This is a really great chair. I wanted to get one specifically for “screen-free time,” one that was comfortable enough to read for extended periods of time in but that wasn’t a recliner or something like that. This is perfect for that purpose, it’s comfortable and leans back so you’re relaxed without taking up the space that a recliner would.The concerns about the screws are legitimate. They are finicky, basically they’re JUST long enough to fit, but not nearly as long as they should be. I made all but one of them work—thankfully they give an extra of the long screws, so I just used that instead on the problem child. Kind of crazy that they used such short screws, but I made it work, and it seems like a great chair overall.5 stars because once assembled, the chair is great, though they really should reassess this screw situation.

Are the screws actually a problem?
Let’s talk about the screw issue.I was on the fence about purchasing this chair due to all the reviews about screws being the wrong size, not lining up properly, etc.I took a gamble and bought it anyway thinking I could figure it out. If you actually read the directions it says to tighten the screws to 70%. This step makes it much easier to assemble the chair. It is also MUCH easier with two people.As I was going along, I got to the point where you screw the back section to the back of the arm rests, and finally it happened. I was able to put the screw in the hole but no matter how much I turned, it didn’t seem to tighten. I was worried I was stripping the inside of the seat back, so I decided to just let it go and move on to the other holes.I kept assembling the chair, and once all the pieces were in place I tightened the screws 100% (well, like 98%, screws should never be tightened as much as humanly possible.) Then, I went back to the screw that had worried me before and it was a breeze! It tightened just fine.Lining up the holes themselves can be tricky, but like I said it’s MUCH easier with a second person. If you decide to assemble this alone, patience is key. I can’t help but wonder how many times this chair has been returned because people couldn’t line up the holes properly, or couldn’t get a screw to tighten and got frustrated and gave up.Overall, definitely worth the gamble because it’s super comfy! The screw caps aren’t the best but if you have a tiny hammer you can get them all to fit.

Good quality for the price
This chair is exactly as pictured, it arrived pretty quickly. I assembled this chair myself, it took me about one hour. The Allen wrench was included. The step-by-step directions are very clear and easy to understand. The wood arms and legs are very sturdy and seem to be good quality. The front of the chair is only 10 inches up from the floor, so it sits a little bit lower than my sofa. The fabric is nice and the stitching on all the seams is good. There’s also Velcro on the underside of the cushion and the chair so that the cushion does not slide off.

Budget Friendly Chair
Great for a budget chair. I purchased this for my reading nook and I’m very happy with it. Its a low budget option for a mid century modern chair. I read the reviews and was a bit nervous, but opted to take the risk anyway. Im so glad I did. I ran into one issue assembling the chair (picured), but it was an easy fix. One of the pre drilled holes didnt go all the way through. I grabbed my drill and punched through easily. All was well and you cant even tell once the chair is assembled. This chair is short, but that is the style and done with purpose. Im 5″3 so it is perfect for me. The cushions are firm and comfortable. Assembled in less than 20 minutes and was so easy (aside from the minor hiccup). The sit test confirms that the chair is sturdy. If you’re concerned, just check the weight limit in the product description. Sidenote: be sure to read the assembly directions before opening any of the packaging.

Beautiful! Looks great and pretty comfortable!
Really nice looking chairs. When the cushions are given time, they fluff out really nice to a decent thickness and are pleasant to sit on for a couple hours at a time. The lumbar support pillow is a great plus! The color is attractive and adds to look of the room it’s in. I found the chairs difficult to put together by myself, but the second chair was much easier. I could have used a 3rd hand in some areas of construction! They function great and make great conversation seating.

Thanks to the reviewer that cleared up concerns about the screws. I bought them, got them together (by not fully tightening all the screws until the directions say to), and they look great and I’m excited to have them.

Sturdy, very nice quality. The corduroy is still wrinkled as a result of the vacuum packing, I hope that will work itself out. Follow the instructions, they are easy to assemble, it takes about 20-30 minutes with two people. The “cork” caps that cover the screws look more like cheap plastic to me and the color could blend better, but not a major distraction. These chairs sit very low to the ground and their profile is quite small. They’re too small for where I planned to use them but I’m keeping them and using them in another room. For the price, they’re a good value.

Love it!! As described, comes well packaged. Really appreciate the note on bags that says “ nonreturnable after opening”. Pillow is open in the box so you can see the colour and feel fabric. Easy to put together. Well made.

El producto venía bien empacado, sin maltratar. Traía su instructivo y kit de armado. Cuando intente armarlo, fue sencillo, solo tuve un detalle: los tornillos no eran los adecuados y tuve que conseguirlos por mi cuenta. No conseguí similares y por ende no le quedaron las cubiertas plasticas.En general el producto es muy bueno, esta comodo y se ve de buena calidad. Tengo pensado comprar otro más para mi casa.

I live in a tiny apartment and this chair fits in beautifully. If I had the room, I would order another one! I love the cosiness of earthy colours. The green is light and really packs of punch. The lamp, small table and the TV stand are all purchased from Amazon.
