Wall‑Mountable UPS That Blends Right In
I’ve been gradually replacing all of my battery backup units with LiFePO4 models, and this compact Goldenmate UPS is another winner. I already own some of their larger models, which have been excellent, but I needed a smaller unit that could be wall‑mounted—this one fits the bill perfectly.Although it uses a simulated sine wave output (common for compact UPS units), it has been reliable for my needs. The standout feature for me is the magnetic wireless charging pad. I was pleasantly surprised that it works even when mounted vertically—my phone stays securely attached and charges without issue. That’s a thoughtful design touch that makes this UPS more versatile than others I’ve used.The sleek white finish and matching power cable blend nicely into the wall, making it look less like industrial equipment and more like part of the room. It’s compact, lightweight, and easy to install, yet still provides six surge‑protected outlets, USB charging ports, and dependable backup power.If I could change anything, I’d prefer a removable power cable (like Goldenmate’s larger models) to reduce clutter, and I’d like the USB ports to default to “on” instead of requiring a button press. But those are minor preferences compared to the overall value this unit delivers.In short, this UPS combines modern design, reliable LiFePO4 battery technology, and convenient charging features in a compact package. All 6 outlets are UPS and surge! Already had a power outage. Works as advertised. Love the wireless charging pad.Outlets are situated so any power pack will not block the next outlet. It’s a big bang for the buck especially when you consider the size of the unit.It’s always a good practice to insure the ups you use has the power capability’s you need to cover your power needs. Amps/watts.Also UPS’s will only last so long on battery. Know your limitations.

Good Unit – Confusing USB and Wireless Charging, Great Price
Early review of the GOLDENMATE 600VA/360W Lithium UPS (LiFePO4 battery): The unit feels well-built, and the manufacturer advertises the lithium iron phosphate battery as offering a 10+ year lifespan—much longer than traditional lead-acid UPS batteries (often 2-3 years). It’s overkill for my 2 small, basement network devices: an 8-port gigabit switch (TP-Link TL-SG108E) and 2-port analog phone adapter (Grandstream HT802). The run-time test lasted over 10 hours (10:02). Works great!A quirk: USB ports and wireless charging don’t activate automatically—you need to quick-press the power button a second time, which isn’t obvious from the docs – even if you read through them thoroughly. The LED system (1 red, 1 green, 3 blue) isn’t intuitive; I suggest taping a copy of the manual’s LED explanation (page 2 attached) to the unit for quick reference.Pros:Long-lasting LiFePO4 batteryHandles small networking devices with easeUSB and wireless charging featuresCons:Enabling USB/wireless charging requires an extra step. I wonder if disabling this USB charging would increase my runtime. Seems likely.Operation LEDs are cryptic; reference guide on-device or manual page needed. (see attached page 2 user-guide scan)

An adequate UPS for a beginner like me.
I’m new to UPS for home office use, though I’m little familiar with their use from my time at university. I just got a new Lenovo ThinkStation for a home business and want to ensure that the occasional power outages here in California don’t cause a loss of my important data, and it seems like this UPS will manage that for me.I like the compact nature of this UPS, and the fact that it doesn’t weigh a ton like the old ones I remember. For now, I’ll place it behind my tower, but the fact that it’s light weight and comes it the option to mount it has me considering placing it on the wall. I like the options of the USB-A and -C ports for charging devices, but I’m not quite sold on the wireless charging plate. The charging plate is detachable and, with a USB cable, can be used away from the UPS. By the way, that grey pad in the shape of the plate is to be placed underneath the charging plate if you do choose to detach it and run it though a USB cable; it insulates and prevents accidental shorts. Wireless charging is just too inefficient and often generates the sort of heat that can be damaging to the batteries in mobile devices. Rather than the charging plate, I would have preferred a basic screen to show UPS status (battery capacity, etc.) and, along with some buttons, provide a menu with which I could make some basic adjustments. For instance, I’d like the option to reduce the maximum charge to 80%, which is the setting I opt for (if allowed) for all of my devices. Maintaining a 100% charge indefinitely is well understood to be bad for battery life, so why can’t I prolong the life of the UPS battery with this option? I do like the communication port that can be used to configure Windows to shutdown safely in the event of a power outage. This just makes practical sense, since I might not be around when the power goes out.Overall, I like this UPS. Although I’m a novice and really don’t know what I need or want yet, I can’t help feeling that the ability to customize will (such a setting the charge %) and lack of a display will eventually cause me to quickly outgrow this device. I doubt the charging plate will ever see any use, though I may be the exception—though I suspect that recent advancements in wireless charging (MagSafe/Qi2) will have many users unimpressed by this offering. Still, if this UPS prevents me from losing data during a power outage, then it’s effectively done its job and I would be satisfied. In a couple of years, I can decide if I really need a display and customization abilities, but for now this seems pretty good and the price is reasonable.
