manual edger that works and is well built
I have a very small and short sidewalk in my back yard that I wanted to get straight and neat but could not see a reason to spend a lot of money on an edger or weed eater that I don’t need or want. I decided to get this manual edger and glad I did. It really works and with its design, makes it easy to use and follow the concrete edge cutting the grass with very little effort. I would highly recommend for small jobs and it is well constructed and durable for my liking.

Makes digging a breeze!
Love this little gem! Like digging with Shark teeth. Wish I had it sooner. Goes in the ground with ease, chops away at deep rooted grass and chunks of dirt. Makes my planting trees, bushes, and other plants a cinch. Very sturdy, heavy duty material, and great quality! Thank you to whomever designed this trusty little shovel!

Good tool for diging a small trench, but could use some improvements
I bought this because it was cheap and needed a tool to dig a small trench a couple inches deep for 1/4 inch diameter water line to irrigate some plants. It came fast, came with the tools to put together easily. Seemed to work okay. The dual tube design is heavily made, but did not care for it as I could only put one foot on the shovel, instead of using both feet so I can jump on it. The blade seemed a bit flimsy but sharp, and cut the soil easily. The handle could have been bent out a little to help keep the blade vertical while I kept my body vertical over the blade. Otherwise a decent tool, happy I got it to use.

I love this sharp Border Edger. It truly gets the job done. I love old school tools still exist. The look is serious, the weight is good. The ease of use is spot on. It’s truly good value for the money especially I may continue working without recharging it. The speed is up to the user but I go fast Robert job done. Now I may do other landscaping on the borders.

A superior lawn implement!
A superior yard implement! Quite sturdy! Very pleased with it right out of the box when using it on a very deeply overgrown curb and sidewalk. I find the curved blade and it’s serrated teeth to be exceptionally good at cutting through a deep sod Mat. The angle in the stirrup helps conform the cut along the sidewalk. The curve of the blade allowed me to develop a technique where I could place the blade at an angle bridging my last complete cut, and my next cut. I was able to apply force and rock the blade to achieve a good cut through very thick overgrowth.The materials used in construction are very sturdy! The handle is assembled in segments. The hand grips are substantial and comfortable. I recommend using work gloves to ward off blisters. There is a bit of a wobble in the handle. That is not an indication of weakness, however. The handle could be made of a single piece, however, that might Create complications for compact shipping. Just a thought – if you have the skill, you could permanently weld together the pieces of the handle Or, take it to the local welding/ metal fabrication shop. After a very long first day, I do notice some wear on the blade’s teeth at the Apex of the curve. I believe that every sawtooth type of implement requires either sharpening, blade replacement, or it is considered “disposable“. Blade wear is a reasonable expectation. I recommend a triangle shaped file with the sharpening edge of 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch max. A fine as opposed to coarse weight will add to sharpness without excessive blade wear.I am very much pleased with my purchase! If you want to prevent rust on the blade, I recommend cleaning the blade after use and then spraying it with WD-40. The blade comes with a very substantial rubber guard to protect the serrated teeth. I am keeping this to use when storing my edger.

Solid tool; good for the price; wasn’t too happy with the handle and grips though.
Bottom Line:- i would probably NOT buy this again.- i have mixed feelings about it. See comments below.Pros:- the blade is very sharp (be careful!)- the blade has a cover that i can use while in storage.- the design allows the foot to put pressure down in the center line, so the tool goes straight into the ground and does not rotate (like some shovels do, when used in very hard ground and/or hit rocks and/or roots)- very sturdy product- the metal all seems VERY thick and i think will last my lifetime, if it doesn’T rust out for some reason. Even if it rusts, I’ll just use some rust restoration paint.- all the metal is painted/coated, so i don’T think there should be any issues with rusting, until it gets scratched off from rocks/etc. at least.- for its small size, it feels quite heavy, which i am glad for.Cons:- the hand grips are just very hard plastic and do not allow for a very good grip actually. Very disappointed.- while i usually wouldn’t mind about putting the product together myself, the design causes the handle to rattle and pivot back and forth, regardless of how tight you tighten the screws. This is because the handle/pipe going into each other are loose and are NOT a tight fit. (I am toying with the idea of denting these pipes, if possible even, so they don’t rattle inside one another.)Comments:- i just wish the handle was one long piece instead, so i didn’t have to worry about this feeling as though it rattles around. I don’t think the effectiveness of the tool is any less because of this, it just FEELs like something is wrong with it.- my spouse wanted me to return it, but for the price, and i am satisfied with the product, hence my 3 star review. For me, 3 stars is “good enough”; 4 stars would be good to very good; 5 stars would be ‘great’.- i wish the handle was just a couple inches longer; but if i was shorter, then this might be a good height ‘as is’, actually.- i wonder what an aluminum version would cost, that was thick enough to be durable and wouldn’t have to worry about corrosion? Just curious. Questa bordatrice viene consegnata in una scatola contenente le varie componenti, le relative viti con le chiavi per il montaggio ed un foglietto con le istruzioni ben illustrate.Per assemblare le 3 parti di cui è composta ci si impiega solo un paio di minuti e poi è già pronta per esser utilizzata.La lama seghettata a semiluna è realizzata in Acciaio al carbonio e riesce a penetrare molto bene nel terreno creando solchi netti e ben definiti.Grazie al bordo ripiegato è possibile spingere la bordatrice nella terra facendo pressione con il piede in modo da facilitare maggiormente il lavoro.E’ Made in China ed è dotata di Certificazione UKCA.Il costo è pari ad € 31,99 (a marzo 2025) e considerandone il livello dei materiali che ho potuto riscontrare, ne fanno un prodotto dal giusto rapporto qualità-prezzo (per essere una bordatrice ben realizzata).Ovviamente dovesse venir proposta a meno durante un’eventuale offerta, diventerebbe ancora più appetibile.Ho fatto alcune Foto per aiutarvi a capire meglio “dal vivo” come risulta qualora decideste di valutarne l’acquisto.Nel complesso mi ha soddisfatto perché l’ho trovata ben realizzata ed efficace, pertanto mi sento di poterla consigliare a chi desidera avere una bordatrice in acciaio al carbonio di buona qualità, molto utile per rifinire i bordi di marciapiedi ed aiuole varie.Spero che le informazioni fornite possano esservi state utili.

Wir konnten unsere Rasenkanten bzw. unsere Rasenschnitte (ca. 50 Meter) für die verzinkten Rasenkanten sehr gut benutzen. Aufgrund der gezackten Schnittfläche und dem gut einzusetzenden zentralen Druck mit dem Fuss kamen wir immer gut durch die Rasenoberfläche und ins Erdreich. Besser sogar als mit unserem Spaten. Dieser kam nur noch zum Einsatz, wenn weiter unten ein Stein im Weg war. An einer Steinkantenreihe mit überwachsenden Rasen konnte der Rasenkantenschneider auch gut angewendet werden.Insgesamt ist der Rasenkantenschneider sehr stabil konstruiert. Geliefert wird er zerlegt, sodass man den Griff mit den beiliegenden Schrauben verbinden muss. Die Schrauben haben diese blaue “Schraubensicherungsflüssigkeit”, damit sich die Muttern nicht von allein lösen. Natürlich haben sich die Schrauben bzw. die Verbindung zwischen Stil und Kantenscheiderblatt nach ca. 10 Metern Arbeit einwenig gelöst. Nachdem ich sie nachgezogen hatte, war dies kein Problem mehr. Insbesondere auch dann nicht, wenn man den Kantenschneider ins Erdreich gestossen/geschnitten hatte und dann mit dem Stil einwenig hin und her bewegt und eine V-Öffnung zu erhalten.Aus meiner Sicht eine Kaufempfehlung. Wir sind sehr zufrieden.

Estamos encantados con esta herramienta. Con el recortabordes nunca nos quedaba del todo bien el césped, ya que tiene grama y esta crece en todas direcciones. Ahora nos han quedado los bordes perfectamente delineados.-Es fácil de usar, solo hay que empujar con el pie y moverla un poco hacia los lados, siguiendo su propia forma de media luna. Si el terreno es muy dura cuesta un poco más, pero si está blando es facilísimo y rápido.-Es conveniente utilizarla con zapatos de suela gruesa para poder empujar mejor.-Tal como se puede ver en una de las fotos hay que buscar el final de la baldosa que delimita donde cominza el cesped, y poner la herramienta con la parte abierta hacia el cesped para que el corte recoja la hierba para dentro.El material de la bordeadora es de alta calidad. Las cuchillas cortan estupendamente y se ve muy resistente.La haja de cuchillas trae un protector para mayor seguridad cuando no se está usando.
