A real grown-up maker.
This is actually the second one of these I have purchased. This one for my dad. The first was for me, and I thought I already gave it a review. When I like something this much, I try to be sure and pay it it’s dues.I am now fifty-five years old. I have always done the vast majority of my own repairs. Be it washers, dryers, air conditioners, cars or anything that needs fixing. It is a principle that was passed down to me from my father, and somehow I managed to pass it right on through to my son. A gentleman Z no less. My whole life I have managed to do this on small, often piece-mealed, sets of tools.I initially stumbled across this set on a sale and scooped it up. I can’t explain the difference it has made in my life. It is darn near a perfect set of tools. Anything that would seeminglymake it more perfect, such as screwdrivers or open-end wrenches, would also make it entirely unwieldy, taking it further away from perfect rather than bringing it closer to perfect. Heck, maybe it is perfect. It seems like somewhere along the way there was a tool that I needed, and would have expected to find, but wasn’t in there. I’m sticking with almost perfect. This set makes me feel like I am finally an adult. If you are young, buy this set, and protect every piece of it. Always keep them together and one day be proud of how every piece is still in there. Always do a thorough scan before closing the box to make sure you have everything in it’s place. However, be sure to forgive yourself if your car eats one if the pieces. It’s weird, but it happens.The quality on every single piece, even the box, is top notch. They even slapped a lifetime warranty on them because they think so too. I can’t imagine needing to use it. These tools are tough. I changed out the timing chain on my truck and put many of them to the test. That is a big, scary, difficult job, and every piece was up to the task.The selection is also very well thought out. Every conversion, every extention and pretty much every size and shape socket is right there waiting for you. If I had a complaint, it would be a misguided one as it would be about the fact that the sockets are hard to get out of their assigned space. A dumb complaint because they would likely be scattered in a pile at some point if they hadn’t designed the case this way. A minor annoyance that I will gladly live with to keep an organized box. I haven’t entirely decided, but I believe it is better for the longevity of the box to pry from the end of the socket that attaches to the wrench. I think it will serve me best in the long run. The box is very solid and has four latches that click into place with ease and make for a very secure toolbox. I should probably point out that it is pretty heavy. I actually took pause getting one for my dad for that reason. He is eighty-three, and while still an animal, just not as strong as he used to be. I had to get him one, though. He has been admiring mine for awhile now, and his drool is going to wreck the finish on my sockets. Of course I am joking. The finish is really good too. I can wipe the drool right off with no ill effect.If you got this far, go ahead and take the plunge. You won’t regret it. There is nothing like having really nice tools and all in one place when you are battling it out with your check engine light. I wish I had them my whole life, but I appreciate them more because I did not.

Even they can’t show you the immensity of this set, when you open up this socket box as big as a baby coffin !!! Weight ? Expect back pains if you even think about carrying this about. Weighs 37 pounds, feels like 75. The very reason why there are FOUR latches on the sides !!! The value for money here is beyond overwhelming. These are brute pieces with a lust for wanting to tackle hard nuts and bolts !!! Extreme functional and multi-use items. Carrying handle of this container is well made with a sturdy grip. This is the only socket set you’ll every need.
Best socket set I’ve ever owned. Has everything you need. Also ALL 6 POINT SOCKETS. EVERY DRIVE, EXTENSION ETC. only other tool is recommend with this is a good 1/2″ breaker bar, although I just used a galvanized pipe for leverage on the stuck bigger bolts and the socket handles it like a champ. Also it’s extremely durable and I’ve used it on 5 jobs and still have every socket accounted for in their placement spot. I will say that the more I pull sockets in and out the worse the are holding into the case but this is a minimal complaint but still worth mentioning.

WOW. Most impressive set I’ve ever seen.
I knew this was a large quality set, but when it showed up it was twice as big as I thought it was. weighs in at about 37 lbs. extremely impressed, absolutely beautiful to look at. Quality is amazing And if you’re looking for something to last a lifetime and still probably never use everything in the set, because ever size is covered in this set. Pretty shore this will be the last and the best set of sockets you will ever own and need. It will have you covered for every project you could possibly think of a socket set could offer. Did I mention the case holds all the pierces extremely well. Not one peace fell out of place extremely secure in the case even bouncing around the back of my truck I thought for sure there would be a loose pieces in there. Nope not one budged. How many tools have you had in a case and they’re just all over the when you open the case. well whoever designed this case went above and beyond because nothing comes out unless you wanted it to. Not sure if all this is making sense but for the price, , the price and the name brand name DeWalt! WOW

Very Good Set
Very solid set! Ive owned this set for almost 4 years now and I have been very pleased with it. It contains almost every socket I have needed to work on my 6 vehicles + tractors and equipment + things around the house. The only downside is the ratchets. They are very durable but the ratcheting mechanisms are coarse. This is fine because I got a long handled 3/8” ratchet from harbor freight and the 3/8” milwaukee m12 electric ratchet that I use mainly.

Lo Bueno:Es más que lo necesario, muy resistentes los dados y bien hechos, incluso los de las bujías tienen suficiente sujeción para que no se muevan, no se van a arrepentir de la compra.El estuche es perfecto y muy resistente.Lo Malo:Pesa demasiado, como 25 kg el kit completo, entonces sí es portable y el estuche que tiene es excelente pero no es tanto por lo mismo del peso de todo el kit.Me gustaría que tuviera en la orilla del kit por dentro un empaque para que fuera hermético y resistente al agua por si traemos el kit a la intemperie en la caja de la camioneta o algo por el estilo.

I’ve owned many socket sets in the past, this is by far the best!! Everything is very high quality including the case. Metal hinges and straps, and slots where the sockets do not fall out. The deep sockets are 1 1/2 times deeper than standard. No skips. Goes up to 1″ or 24mm. 3 different extension lengths for all the 3 sizes. No wrenches or drivers that take up the piece count. I’d recommend to anyone.

This is an excellent socket set of high quality. I like the lifetime guarantee. Has everything I need, and a wide range of sockets, and some allan keys as well which will come in handy. No spanners with this set but I only wanted a socket set, and this is very comprehensive. A couple of sockets did fall out during shipping but the whole set was intact so nothing was missing. The case is strong, big and heavy. I like the metal latches on the front and sides. A few of sockets fell out when I closed the case. Still very happy with it. An excellent selection which I hope should last.
