We ordered this hoping it would help after getting a new well put in. We got a water testing kit for basic testing and our water is pretty good. It has a high total alkalinity, which was really the only thing really out of whack. Iron, pH, bacteria, sulfide, manganese, hardness, mercury, nitrates were all normal. We have a filter on the water coming into the house and this just filters it more.From the tap the total alkalinity was at the 240 range which was the highest measurement. With the Brita it measured 180.So it did help. The water does taste a little bit better too.I can’t say anything about the other trace elements because we didn’t have them in our water, but it did lower the total alkalinity to normal levels so it is doing something.The slim design fits perfectly in our side by side fridge and I do love having the spout on the front is great for filling glasses and water bottles.So far there have been no leaks from the spout or the container. Of course user error when filling the top while it’s still in the fridge or a cat tripping you up on the way to put it back in said fridge cannot be blamed on Brita.The filters are very fast, much faster than the old ones that I used to have. However, when it starts getting full, the filter does slow down, but…physics. So not too surprising. The filter will be very fast until the water rises above the bottom of the filter, then it will slow down…a lot. But it will still filter. I just keep water in the top until the bottom fills up.There is an indicator on top to let you know when to change the filter. Not sure how it works, but it lights up every time I close the lid. Time will tell. That reminds me, I need to order filters so I have them on hand. Sigh.I do keep a pitcher to fill the top so I don’t have to carry it from the sink to the fridge. It’s not too heavy if it’s empty and you are only filling the top, but water weight begins to add up. 1 gallon = about 9 pounds, roughly. So it’s up to you haw much you want to carry. Keeping a pitcher to fill up the top is much easier, and remember the cat, sometimes safer. Also if you have dogs, small children, etc.It’s also wonderful not having to spend money on cases of water bottles every month!! Less waste and save money!It works great, functional, and actually did make a difference in my water testing.I do recommend it. Better than the old Brita pitcher and the filters are better too. So far!

Efficient, effective, fits in fridge, does its job
Great water filter. This filter is super functional not only at filtering water but the size is perfect for fitting inside the fridge. It’s slender enough that it doesn’t take up to much space. This is a great product and worth the money. The only upgrade I would recommend is it having a sensor to let you know when the filter needs to be changed. I love the black color, it just looks nice and cleans well.

Solid, not cheap, the valve has great seals
These things tend to leak, they tend to be cheap thin plastics that are brittle and crack or scratch easily, they tend to off gas or fog over time, this has done none of these things, I purchased this product almost 2 years ago and today it is as perfect as it was the first day I received the delivery. This is one of those purchases that you end up so happy about because it lasts a very long time, gives you trouble-free use, and was a great price too

Better than a basic Brita pitcher
Overall it works well. I don’t like that if you fill the top reservoir with water it does not completely fill the bottom part once filtered. If you then add more to the top then water in the bottom will be sitting in/around the filter and it is unclear if that is still safe/effective. The size is very reasonable under my cabinet. Very easy assembly. I would say it is 4.4 stars but that was not an option. If you do not a handheld dish sprayer attachment on your sink or an empty pitcher then it could be annoying to refill trying to get it in and out of the sink basin. It definitely help with the “tap water taste” that my water had. Tastes like Life Water.

The best water filtering dispenser.
I love this water Dispenser. This is my second one in a lot of years. This one is more “fancy” then my other one but it was much older. It holds a lot of water without being to big and bulky. It is slim so fits nicely in my refrigerator without taking up a lot of space. I drink a lot of water so this thing gets used. The handle at the bottom never once broke. If anything it was wear and tear from taking it out of the fridge to fill it up at least once per day. Eventually the bottom started to crumble. If you need a water filtering dispenser in your house and not a lot of space in your fridge this is the way to go.

Excelente producto, viene con 1 filtro, los demás se venden por separado y no son tan caros. Dura cada filtro 45-60 días dependiendo que tan horrible te salga el agua de la llave, si eres de Jalisco, cambia el filtro cada 30 días y fíltrala 2 o 3 veces.

I bought this as i was buying alot of bottled water, since the tap water in SG tastes less clear. With the bottled water, i started drinking alot more water instead of sugary drinks.I am happy to report that the filter makes a big diffrence in my case on the taste and i will stop buying so much bottled water. The investment will pay for itself in a few months only.Of note, the size is quite big, but fits nicely in a slim footprint on the kitchen counter. It was unfortunately too tall for my fridge.Of further note, the replacement filters are readily available and are fairly priced.No need to buy those expensive gadgets from Ruhens etc. JUst buy this – or the smaller pitcher.
