Dead batteries, but otherwise great 👍
Works great. Much better than my old Blink. I’m curious to see if the battery life is really as good as it says though. I had bought a solar panel for my previous one and my kid tripped over the wire (mind you it was not laying on the open lol so we dont know how he managed it) and the doorbell came off the wall and never worked again.I was excited to find this on sale. Made it affordable and worth it to replace my old doorbell especially since it comes with a sync module. I’d wanted one before but never found the extra budget to justify it. It works beautifully. Integrated with my Alexa to turn on my porch Light with motion detection. I like that you can turn off motion detection for animals. My cats are notorious for wanting to be outside at night and they have to go on the porch and set off the doorbell. The 2 way talk is nice when I need to tell my kids to stop fussing or messing around when they’re waiting for the bus and it’s not too bad of a lag time or delay. Easy to install, app is easy enough to figure out. My only problem is that teh batteries it came with were dead lol.

I recently installed the Blink Video Doorbell (newest model), and I couldn’t be more impressed! The HD video quality is crystal clear, and I love the head-to-toe view that lets me see not only who’s at my door but also the area around it.The battery life is amazing – I’ve had it up and running for a couple of months, and it still shows a full charge. I appreciate that it lasts up to two years on a single charge, so I don’t have to worry about constantly recharging.The setup was super easy, thanks to the included Sync Module Core. It synced with my phone and the app quickly, and I had everything up and running within minutes.Additionally, the fact that it’s eligible for return or replacement through January 31, 2026 gives me peace of mind in case anything goes wrong.Overall, this is an excellent product that delivers great value, security, and peace of mind. This change alone is a game-changer, eliminating the frustrating blind spots where packages might have been sitting unseen on the doorstep. Coupled with an expanded field of view (now 150 degrees, up from 135), the range and quality of what you can capture far surpasses the previous Blink doorbell. Live view also seems to load faster, making on-demand checks much more responsive.The camera now offers higher 1440p resolution and an improved IP65 weather rating, ensuring better video clarity and durability in the elements. Affordable and decent video doorbell
Got it on sale on prime day. Set up is easy and quick. It’s a video doorbell but I use it as security camera for my backyard. The image quality is much better than the blink cameras. The access time is OK, takes some moment for image to come up. There’s some lag time when the motion is detected. This is mounted in a place which is not directly affected by weather, so hopefully it’ll last much longer. There’re 2 things that I need to mention here: One: to charge the battery you need to remove 2 cover plates to access to battery and Two: there’s a small gap between wall-mount plate and camera body. Water might get inside during heavy rain. It’s affordable and decent camera to use around the house.

Quality and affordable
The Blink products are great! I started my collection about 8 years ago and have have added to it over the years. My original outdoor and indoor cameras still work. I add to/upgrade as they become available. Our backyard is like Wild Kingdom at times and we have so.e great clips. We have a small dog and find the cameras and advantage with the coyote population.When we take vacation there are no worries as we can monitor the place while we are gone . The newer doorbell is amazing and far better than the Ring bell we had before. We have purchased cameras for our kids and they love them as well. Keeping them safe! There’s nothing that I don’t like about my Blink cameras! I would recommend Blink to everyone!
