Very versatile and works extremely well
I finally used this tool this morning and it works perfectly. I am impressed on the strength when working with material that I need to pull. Holds extremely well. Great tool if you need one buy this one.

That’s too bad!
If you really intend to use this for work, then don’t use it. Don’t ever use it. This detector broke on the first day, and the clips used to secure it also broke. It’s just a bunch of junk. This thing is completely useless.

Very useful
These pliers are extremely useful! They take the place of multiple tools in your tool bag and they seem to be very decent quality! I’m very glad that I purchased them and I would recommend them any person who is doing any kind of electrical work.

Feels good right out of the package
Haven’t used it but out of the package it seems well build. There’s a + & – on the handle that is not explained & I haven’t been able guess what it is for. Instructions were printed under a microscope & really not easy to read, especially if you’re getting older. Can’t wait to try them.

Great quality for the money
I’m pretty impressed with these. They pack a lot into one device. The tester on it is pretty cool, and as plus my toddler thought it was cool that when I touched both ends of it the light turns on. It’s got a good weight to it. I tested on some wires, it cuts through like butter and did a good job of stripping. I like that it has a plier at the end as well. It feels like good durable metal throughout. My only durability concern is the area with the tester and light. It’s also super versatile with a lot of features. My only major concern is that there is a very sharp blade between the handles I think for splitting long wires open. There were a few times I went to grab the items when they were open, and nearly pierced myself with the blade. As a plus, it does lock shut, and they also provide a replacement blade.

Not worth it
Looks good at first, but not very practical. Wire stripping isn’t smooth and sometimes cuts the core. Voltage tester is slow and unreliable. Build quality feels cheap

An emotional journey that ended with me being veryimpressed.
When I opened these up, I was disappointed and thought I’d got a cheap product. The more that I use them though, the more that I’m impressed. Those who have worked with electrical equipment knows that a hot stick or voltage indicator is really important for safety.Normally you simply have to be close to a hot wire and not touching it for a hot stick to indicate a hot line. These ones you actually have to touch the conductor. Most the time I don’t have the equipment pulled apart to actually touch the conductive portion. Sometimes I’m trying to identify before I pull things apart to make sure I got the line. De-energized. So not very useful for me.But everything else is impressive. I didn’t like the design where the stripping blade was close to the thumb latch release, but when I used it the first time it was really impressive. Normally I use a box cutter to strip back the protective sleeve on the line but this one you barely have to open up your grip clamp down and pull forward. It’s so sharp. There’s low resistance and then you can pull back the protective sleeve with the pliers and then cut it with the wire cutting portion. Pretty impressive honestly! I’m putting these in my main bag while I do work.Probably won’t use the winding feature, but the split function in the handle is pretty awesome. Honestly, it feels a little bit redundant with the cutting blade in the middle of the handle, but if one gets dull you always have the other as an option. It does come with an extra blade for the stripper in the middle. The only real negatives I can share is the instructions for the voltage indicator is pretty junky. The best instructions are actually on the Amazon listing. Also, since this is the United States, most wire strippers have different units and on these they don’t have American gauge numbers on the back. They only have the millimeter measurements on one side.Do I feel like these are worth the $25? Probably not. Honestly, I feel like you can find similar quality tools at a cheaper price but I’ve never seen the winding and splitting features in the handle like this and I’m afraid I’m going to fall in love with the striping blade in the middle the handle. Honestly, it’s my favorite feature of these things. So convenient!
