Best buy I’ve made in quite a while
Got this today, an impulse order made just yesterday.Appears to be Craftsman-quality. I needed some metric sockets.I paid about this price in ’79 for a similar set of ratchets and sockets in a Sears store, though it included a steel carry chest too. This was back when money was a little tight for me and min. wage was very low.Received everything. This is a real value: quality/price, esp. at the sale price.

Good starter kit
Good value for the money especially when it goes on sale. The swivel bits don’t hold up to an impact (it’s chrome? Boo hoo). Used the 3/8” swivel bit and the pin came out of it on the first use. Overall still a good starter kit for any DIY’er or for around the house projects

I spent quite a bit of time researching tool kits to see which would have the best bang for your buck and after comparing many sets, including sets from Canadian Tire, I finally decided on this one as it had pretty much everything you need in terms of typical sizes and pieces needed for most jobs. I had to purchase a separate wrench set, which was fine since it was hard to find a reasonably priced combined socket and wrench set. The tools in this set feel solid and very durable. It had everything I needed to do the multiple repairs / maintenance on the 2001 Acura CL I was working on. The only thing that didn’t really work great was the spark plug socket. Perhaps I was using it wrong, but compared to the other spark plug socket tool I purchased separately, the one included in this set was not very good. Overall I am really happy with this mechanics tool kit and hope to get many years of use out of these tools.
